I didn’t recognise the actor’s name, so he’s Rory Breaker? His timeline is 90% boxing tweets, seems like a good bloke. Presumably he’s not talking about Taylor being racist against blacks per se, just talking about the general climate in Britain which I would agree seems to be becoming more overtly racist every day.
Ya, could be, though seems questionable to place Taylor so close in context to racism vs blacks ( "taking matters into there own hands by verbally & physically abusing Blacks. #JoshTaylor") if there is really no evidence of it. I don't like that type of subtle, disingenuous manipulation and it just fans more flames.

I unfollowed Vas on Twitter about a year ago for his casual racism, pity coz he seems like an alright bloke and knows his boxing, cant remember what it was specifically that made me unfollow him but I remember it being a final straw type of thing, he seems to push an agenda

How did Taylor know the bouncer was 'orange'?
Suggests there was a bit of back and forth prior to the insult. Probably 2 sides to this one.
From what I have seen most doormen go heavy on the sunbeds.
Are we sure it wasn't a reference to a silly orange tan?

Nah mate, apparently calling someone orange these days is nothing other than a violent, racial attack on black men as a whole

Lots of comments on Vas’s timeline saying Taylor is a supporter of Britain First / Tommy Robinson?

He is (or was) an Anthony Yarde/Tunde Ajayi cheerleader too.

If he is anti Orangemen, he is anti Protestant, so to that end the Britain First angle doesn't really fit.
Then again they called Corbyn anti semetic

Nonsense, Orange bastard is surely a sectarian insult, not a racial one.

Exactly it's a fairly common insult here
Been called this on a number of occasions despite me not being a member of any lodge

The orange walkers are regularly ridiculed (rightly so, as all religions should be subject to in a free society). Mostly because it's hilarious hateful nonsense. Frankie Boyle rips them a new one, no one said he's racist for it

Well with names like Boyle & Connolly it's easy to see why you spout insults towards the orange order. In Scotland if you call someone an Orange/Fenian Bastard you'd be hauled up in front a judge the next morning on a sectarian charge - regardless of what Frankie 'As funny as a' Boyle might say.

you're hilarious... someone's clearly triggered for no reason. You've taken my dig and fake made up crazy religion and had a dig at the literally origin of names. Pure class. Again, for the hard of reading, all religion should be up for ridicule, Especially the ones who hate gay yet wear camp orange dresses burning effigies with racist slogans of black footballers they dislike because they have the mentality of 5 year old
And you're right, Frankie Boyle isn't at all funny. Someone with his level of success, I mean, it's pure randomness compared to your level of...

I'm not "triggered" at all, you've weighed in to the conversation with a load of unintelligible nonsense on the subject. Objective criticism of religion (or "ridicule" as you put it), isn't quite the same as verbally abusing someone in a way that would be considered a sectarian (or a racially motivated) slur in the eyes of the law.

What exactly is 'unintelligible', I'd be surprised if you knew what that word meant. I mean, it's complete fact they burnt effigies of a footballer with a banner saying he likes bananas. Your comments are so unbelievably dumb, Josh Taylor and your typical Protestant are the same race. It's only racist if orange was a skin type

Tell you what then mate, go to the same club Taylor was in and start calling folk Orange Bastards, then when you get arrested for it you can spout the same pish as you have in this thread, but they'd probably chuck on a drunk and disordely charge too

Please tell me you are taking the piss? Please?
The funny thing is I worked on the door for years in Swansea and got more abuse than you can imagine. Being small for a doorman and being English those were the main insults thrown at me!
My colleagues on the other hand all got abused too, steroid head, fat, ugly, pretty boy, valleys boy. Moreover there were a couple who hit the sunbeds hard who had a lot of abuse for being orange!!
You realise quite quickly that a drunk/drugged up fella chucks the first insult that comes into his head and it means little.
Of course these days particular insults can put you in legal problems.
I remember once years back a right div of a bouncer wouldn't let me in a pub, then tried to play the hard man with me. I really wanted to fight him but he melted quickly so while still in need of releasing some adrenaline, he started chucked some racial insults at him(he was a black guy).
I later really beat myself up about it, still feel bad today to be honest, because I'm not at all racist so I really had let myself down. I wasn't even drunk, just angry, the fella deserved a dig, he was a div but I just came out with the first insults that came into my head and in doing so made a real c#nt of myself.

It’s a derogatory terms for a Protestant as in orange order. Very common behaviour in Scotland and the north of Ireland. Trust me, it’s a got feck all to do with sun beds. Taylor is a big Hibernian fan which is supported predominantly by the catholics in and around Edinburgh, a bit like Celtic in Glasgow. Hibernian translates in Latin to Ireland. Taylor’s comment was religiously meant.

It just sounds to me like he doesn't take his drink too well, and he's feeling aggrieved that he's not more famous in his own ends. Rather than small-man syndrome (as others have said — he's average-sized), I imagine he's thinking “I could smash the lot of yous. If you knew who I am you'd show me respect”. But to the average doorman who watches UFC and not boxing, he's another common or garden prick.
My main takeaway is that boxers aren't as renowned as they used to be.
