Same here, I know your not much of a puncher, Whytes still prime for the picking, his punch resistance is shot to sh*t and we know you can pull off the upset.

No doubt. Ever since Browne, he’s been a PPV monster.
It’s al Sky and Hearn’s fault. All got to Whyte’s head.
To he fair, he’s fought decent opp.
Parker, Chisora 2, Rivas, Povetkin twice.
He’s only PPV fighter because of his purse demands. That is literally it.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. TBA | DAZN - 30 October 2021
The first Chisora fight I didn't mind paying for, the card was alright, and at the time, beating Del Boy ment something. Plus it was a good fairly even and entertaining fight.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 15:22No doubt. Ever since Browne, he’s been a PPV monster.

Anything after that, including the rematch and fighting Parker who was coming off a loss was just bollocks as a PPV.

He also does c.300,000 buys per ppv. That’s why he stayed on as a PPV fighter. He sold tickets too so got what he deserved.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 15:22No doubt. Ever since Browne, he’s been a PPV monster.

The rest of the card was decent too.KiwiRider wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 15:29The first Chisora fight I didn't mind paying for, the card was alright, and at the time, beating Del Boy ment something. I (and most of us) saw that as the main event anyway.
And yeah, didn't we bicker on here for days afterwards about the result

Was a close fight, but majority had Chisora win that. He wasn’t even winning the rematch, before the ref started docking points. Seems like he couldn’t be bothered after that and got KO’dKiwiRider wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 15:44Yes, I bought the first Whyte Chisora fight because of them, and not AJ Vs MolinaRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 15:33The first Delboy fight was on the AJ card. Apparently Franklin already signed the contract.
“Why drag this out for so long to not make it happen,” Franklin stated to BS.com. “I’m undefeated and ready for the step-up fight and I promise I will knock Betty Whyte out.”
“I want the fight. I signed the bout agreement on my end,” Franklin insists. “They (Whyte people and reps) brought my name up first. I knew about it like most people on social media. I was like, ‘Yes let’s do this.’
“I want to show the world I’m the best.”

Arreola is 40, coming of back to back losses, and hasnt got a decent win on his record for 7 or 8 years...
likely Simular levle, and sure they can sell the Kownaki war and hurting ruiz i guess, but whyte has had to many 40 year olds lately, would get crucified for another.

To put it into context more people buy Whyte’s fights in the U.K. than bought the latest Pacquaio PPV in the US (a reported 230k buys).
I know the price points are different but their population is also 6 times bigger and Manny’s a global star.

If Joshua and Fury weren't around at the same time he'd be an even bigger star.
Plenty of my makes know Whyte but wouldn't have a clue who Josh Taylor is. Always the way with heavyweights and good luck to him.

I don’t really criticise Whyte for his opponents. As to whether Franklin’s a more sellable fight, he’s got a nice record but the Arreola fight will generate more noise in the US than Franklin and it’ll probably be a better fight too.

I think Arreola and Martin will do better at the box office than Arreola.
I’ve been getting sick of Arreola getting big fights for I don’t know how long now. I was pissed when Wilder defended against him and how many years ago was that?

Both Eddie and Sky did amazingly well for him and vice versa. You need more than just a channel showing your fights to be promoted well and well tickets.

I think he joined Matchroom during the Super 6 - perhaps for the final or the semi. The shit show of a U.K. Dirrell fight starting at 2am followed by the Kessler fight being an online PpV did Big Mick no favours.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑03 Sep 2021, 09:55yeh, certainly..
