Hes not fluid that is his problem. He wont correct it

His options are to either become a pure brawler or stay where he is as a future gatekeeper

The more i think about it the more im shocked they put Efe in this fight. i know i personaly though it was a true 50-50 and if anything backed efe, but that was at a glance, efes team should of done there homework.... and even if efe won, wouldent of done much for him.

Efe had every right to be a star, you just needed to feed him hitable flat footed old has beens for a couple more years... or otherwise fun shootout opponents, Efe vs babic anyone?

I don’t think either man will ever be good enough to progress their careers to the point they’re classed amongst the top-five world-rated heavyweights.

Normally, I’d award two unbeaten prospects kudos for facing each other, but in this case I won’t, because they’re hyped-up timewasters with horrendously padded records.

Both men are in their late twenties and both have been pros for more than four years. And they’ve achieved nothing of any note – they haven’t even shown any visible signs of improvement since 2019.

It’s about time they faced a half-decent opponent, rather than cab drivers or road sweepers!

That said, when it comes to making a prediction, I’m a bit flummoxed.

The Cuban’s amateur record is seriously impressive, from a statistical standpoint, but he’s less accomplished than the Nigerian in terms of international tournaments.

Ajagba is the bigger more heavy-handed fighter, faced better opponents in the pro ranks and will probably be installed as the betting favourite for this bout, but he’s also slower, more robotic and there’s a big question mark about his durability (since he’s been hurt by subpar opposition).

Sanchez is fast, mobile, throws lots of shots and has a really good team behind him, but his punching power is questionable to the point where he’ll be considered feather-fisted by the top guys, his defence is very leaky, and he’s generally fought slightly weaker opponents in the pro ranks than Ajagba has.

I’m favouring Sanchez to win this fight by decision – he’ll probably outwork Ajagba, but I haven’t got much confidence in my prediction.
Nice post EO :TU:
I'm in the mind that Frank will outbox Aggie, maybe knock him out, maybe go to a decision win if Aggie's chin holds up. Seems the votes on the poll reflect this also.
And I don't mind this matchup at all.
Like you said, neither are future superstars, but as far as levels go, its not bad..

Ha, it was the only fight I had a flutter on. Thankfully, because I thought Cheeseman would get a decision, and the same with Smith

Apparently Efe Ajagba wants to rematch Frank Sanchez asap.

It shouldn’t be allowed to happen, otherwise he’ll inevitably go down the same path as David Price when he suffered embarrassing back-to-back losses to Tony Thompson.

The Nigerian will always lose in one-sided fashion to the Cuban, unless he can score a fluky lottery winning style one-punch KO.

I like the idea. This might be Efe's one chance to actually learn something. That loss could be the best thing that happened to him.

Think we'd all rather see Sanchez face a top 15 guy next and Efe face someone just outside the top 15 but significantly better than the likes of Howard, Rice, Cojanu etc.

Frank Sanchez Vs Luis Ortiz?

Probably can't cope with the embarrassment. When you give it the big one about being such an expert and how few others on the forum have the first clue about boxing, only to find what they were all telling you was spot on, then it's going to come as a bit of a shock.

Fair play to him though. There are one or two posters on here that constantly post the most outrageous shite that appear to have no concept of the meaning of embarrassment.

Amen. Credit to him for having a normal human reaction and the ability to understand when he should be embarrassed.

Boxtune stopped submitting posts to the forum five weeks before the Ajagba-Sanchez bout.

News to me if he has been banned. I saw he had used another account to post. He didn't say anything about that but the style and the unmistakable homoerotic content left no doubt as to the identity. I don't remember the name though or whether it was as far back as his last Boxtune post.

I'd like to see Sanchez fight Ortiz next.

Out with the old, in with the new. I hope unlike Ortiz, Sanchez doesn't have to wait until he's nearly 40 to receive a title shot.
