The fact he was not taken to account for this led to Haye thinking he could get away with anything, including GLARSING Del Boy, and assaulting a bystander called Adam Booth with a solid metal stand. Both were left with life changing psychological injuries - Chisora with severe delusions that he was a genuine heavyweight contender, leading to a further series of beatings and Booth believing he had a top prospect in Harlem Eubank.

It was always going to be an exhibition. They just did not tell anyone imo until the fans were drawn in. Either that or the promoter re did his figures and realised no one gave a shit
It was originally slated to be an exhibition, then both said "no" its a real fight with a written statement. I don't know if the statement was always a lie or if the commision intervene - with the natural weight difference this was never going to be a proper fight.
I wonder if the same with me done for the "main event" - I still don't think that will be a proper fight.

And this latest development makes an even bigger mockery of the way BN covered it and just gave Haye a free platform to push his false narrative. Not a good look for a publication I can normally trust to tell it like it is.

I actually watched the Harrison "fight" recently - does anyone know if Haye had hurt his left arm in that fight. Yes against a Southpaw the straight right hand is the punch - but at times (particularly when Harrison was hurt) - Haye looked very awkward trying to throw only rights.

The only thing worse than watching the Harrison fight was listening to bunce trying to justify the performance for about 90 minutes on the radio on the way home.
Did the playground get saved? Does anyone know?
Also the punch stats show audley landed one punch but he actually managed to cut Haye which is some punch to damage ratio.

I don’t blame Haye for doing this at all. If I was in his position I’d do the same.
He gets a lot of flack about the Audley fight but he literally said it would be as one sided as gang rape & that Audley wouldn’t land a punch. He didn’t con anyone.
The only fights I criticise him for are the Bellew ones. He knew he was knackered & should’ve never been in the ring either time.
