Just seen. Lower tier tickets on resale at £1300.

I wonder if many are actually selling at those kind of prices. It’s a big fight but I didn’t think it was that big!

Are people actually paying that though or is it just what they’re attempting to be sold for?

Outside of AJ, I can't recall a boxing event selling like this since Bellew/Haye.

Such as shame this never happened when they were at or close to peaks but there is still huge demand for this.

All about names isn't it?

Would like Brook to win but hope he stops that daft "chocolate brownie" nonsense.

You know what..

It's a bit sad this..

After these two and AJ-Fury,
Who are the mainstream boxers in the UK?

I know there are good ticket sellers for the smaller shows, but there isn't much

It's mostly because the fans are not getting the fights they want to see.

With the advances made in touting online these kinds of events will sell out within minutes. People are buying 6 tickets with no ambition to go but to sell for x4 face value.
True fans getting spunked on against our will again.
Least we will be able to get tickets for Katie Taylor v some Estonian nurse so it’s not all bad.

I've been touting years but these were hard work.

Begs the question why this wasn’t at Cardiff stadium. Are there any other stadiums with a roof in the UK.
Demand is there.

This fight should of happened in 2014 or 15. I can not believe it still has this much interest.
On the other side I am hoping Brook has enough left to knock out Khan.

No.

Manchester Arena is the biggest 'arena' in the UK as well.

Mor capacity than O2.

Holds 22k and out in seconds. Cardiff holds what… 70k?

I think the timing’s around the 6 nations. I’m not sure how easy it’d be to protect the turf and turn the stadium inside of a couple of weeks.

Don't they slide the grass out so it probably didn't get affected.

Spurs have the benefit of being a stadium designed to do things like that.

I’m not saying that the Millennium guys couldn’t have done it - it’s just not ideal for them in the middle of a rugby tournament.

The Millenium is designed in the same way - the pitch is in segments and can be removed whenever necessary.

Manchester does make sense.

Tbh, a bigger stadium doesn’t always mean more gate.

His name never declined. Just he never fights and mostly fought in US recently.
