Derevyanchenko and Adames stole the show, although I don't like the decision. I didn't expect Adames to be that good, but still he didn't do enough for win. Sergiy controlled the fight, worked and scored more. Probably Adames landed the biggests shots, but Derev just tends to get wobbled, his chin isn't the hardest. It was an action-packed bout with good display of boxing and shifts in both sides, while Derev did more to win in my eyes.
Eliminators should be 12 rounds
I guess so.
In this particular case it most likely wouldn't help though. The scores are 95-95, 93-97, 94-96. If Derev won the last 2 rounds, there would have been 115-113 for him, 115-113 for Adames and 114-114, thus a SD draw. If the remaining 2 rounds split 1-1, Derev would still lost obviously.
I had Sergiy winning 96-94.

Garcia was jobbed against Peter Crouch/Fundora. Fix was in for the PBC guy with commentary and judging.
Garcia got robbed and the commentary was a disgrace. Abner Mares and Ranallo just cheerleading their guy, who done fornicate all. Then Farhood, Rochin and Morey with prewritten shit cards.
Fundora is just an awkward beanpole and got exposed

Davis just looks like an another overhyped American, some people have him P4P
Take these guys out of their hometown judging and commentary or send them abroad and they would be exposed even more.

Coddled, protected and cherrypicking. I read that Cruz gave him all he could handle.
Floyd shoud start thinking about cash in Tank vs Garcia soon.
There is a solid reason why Tank is matched very careful.

I thought it showed that Tank's upper limit is 135, but he could have a much better, and higher level run at 130.
He comparatively carrys more power at 130.
Last night Loma, Kambosos Jr, Lopez, and maybe Haney would have beaten him IMO. Heck, it was close enough with a second tier fighter.
If he wants genuine belts, then a nutritionalist and a real legacy run at 130 is the ticket.

His last couple of fights have done c.200k buys but they hadn’t had the volume of PPVs in the weeks beforehand like this time and the opponents were more well known.
I think TMT will say it did extremely well and there won’t be much clarity on the numbers.

Plus it was a Sunday and against American football I think and there wasn't much hype.
Arums been saying the PBC crowd are putting out fake figures lately. Keith Idec the BS journalist usually has figures but I noticed lately that Showtime and BS are both owned by CBS, so could be a conflict of interest maybe...

Everyone is vulnerable at 135 and Cruz wasn't a cake walk as I expected. Gervanta has shown in the past he can lose rounds and is capable of losing on the cards if he doesn't get the KO.
Loma can be out muscled and out sized at 135. Haney seems to be one big punch away from getting KOed. Kambosos is very good, but not special in any way. Garcia is a mental midget and can't seem to get his head straight, but again vulnerable and pretty limited. We already seen what happened to Lopez, a guy who believed his own hype and payed the price.
Right now based on performance and eye test, I gotta have Haney as the top guy. Followed by Kambosos, Lomachenko and then Tank (tat could change based on how Loma deals with Commey). I don't know where Garcia even fits in the mix, I don't think he beats any of them. Lopez I feel could beat Kambosos in a rematch, loses to Loma in a rematch, gets out boxed by Haney, knocks Garcia out and is 50/50 with Tank.
Shakur needs to move up to 135, I believe he beats them all.

Pitbull Cruz's body shots and grit softned Tank.
Cruz ain't gonna get a rematch as he should, bc he is Tanks kryptonite.

Tank hasn’t proven anything at 135 but he won that fight comfortably enough given he fought one handed for three rounds.
Looking forward to seeing Lomassiah v Commey coming up.

Loma should only be at 130 as well.
I'm concerned about him taking on Commey.
Commey may be quite a bit less skilled than Loma, but still, All that Size difference.
Loma Will get Rocked. I can just sense it. Unexplainably, but Profoundly, I sense it Strongly.
Can he recover enough, after getting Rocked. That's the main question. It'll also depend on the particular ref.
They all seem to be "Very Step in and stop the bout minded", in this day and age.
They're certainly not much for letting Warriors go out on they're Shield anymore, like the good ole days.

Gervonta didn't seem to Literally have a broken hand.
Yeah, he may have bruised it before the bout, and then it got extra aggravated during the bout with LiL Cruz.
Still though, it remained a useable punching hand. He was still able to throw usefull punches with it.
Just because he felt too afraid/cautious/tentative,to throw titanic uppercuts with the left, doesn't mean that it was literally Broken. A Broken hand is basically useless for throwing leather. He Was Still Able to throw decent punches, after supposedly breaking his Main Weapon/Left Hand, which he Loves to throw those Killer Uppercuts with.
It was certainly Injured, but still by all means,it remained a useable punching hand. Look at The late Tommy Morrison, in his bout with Joe Hipp. Morrison supposedly had two broken hands in that bout, yet still managed to go full on mind over matter, and win by Knockout. Obviously Morrison didn't Really Literally have two broken hands, maybe one broken hand,or maybe neither was literally broken, but still, likely Injured, and hurting badly. It's called, Suck it up ButterCup..!

. . . which Tank did.
Tank threw 10 or less lefts in the last 3 rounds. Whether his left was broken in some manner or sprained, he stopped throwing it almost altogether in the 10th.
Whether or not a combatant can throw meaningful shots with a broken hand depends on what bone(s) are broken and the individual’s pain tolerance.

I have the feeling that Commey has a few too many advantages over a slightly aged, slightly shop worn Loma also. Thing is, he wants to fight the best, and has always done that as a pro and the last 3/4rs of his Am career. I do think Commey will catch him, but only if or when Loma tires.
I shall be watching the fight, and it should be entertaining. Loma for sure needs to start straight away, not like the Lopez fight.

Tank has vacated his WBA regular belt at 140.
Hopefully WBA don’t create another.
He will remain at 135.
