Sounds a bit like what David Duke, the American Neo-Nazi would say. smh

That was a pretty boring fight.
Diaz too small not enough power , to make it exciting.
Good win for Haney beating solid smaller man.
Haney legit top 5 Light Weight.
I still have questions about his punch resistance against better fighters with more power as his career goes on.
Because he didn't have to worry about Diaz power last night really could do all his offense without worrying much.

Finally managed to watch this one.
I scored it 118-110 Haney. The judges scorecards were all within reason, with the 116-112 card being as good as I could possibly imagine anyone scoring it for Diaz.
Diaz just does not have the pop to turn a fight around on one punch. Everybody is talking about Haney being hurt in 12. Diaz was the fighter backing off and failing to throw anything in the last 45 seconds of that round. He was more hurt than Haney was in 12.

Haney gets a lot of hate for him being outspoken, but it's hard not to admire his ambition in today's boxing world of cherry pickers, and those afraid to put their "0" on the line. As far as I know, he has called out the best at his weight, has not ducked anyone, and at 23, is one fight away of having the chance at being true undisputed lightweight champion. I honestly think he will be better at 140, since he seriously drains to get to 135. He is the size of Floyd, so could go 147 too. Will his chin hold up? We'll see, but that's why they fight the fights.ironbeard wrote: ↑07 Dec 2021, 18:02 Finally managed to watch this one.

Props to Diaz, by the way. He has a good future, put up a good fight, and has his head in the right place.

I agree with most of your post but I can’t see Haney going to 140 before he is 27. He needs to mature a good bit. But, he is game, and after what happened v Linares will keep people watching his fights waiting for him to get floored/stopped.Bandog wrote: ↑07 Dec 2021, 18:37Haney gets a lot of hate for him being outspoken, but it's hard not to admire his ambition in today's boxing world of cherry pickers, and those afraid to put their "0" on the line. haney was decent, 116-112 win, got hurt in that last round but fought back well. mostly controlled jo jo and made him look limited

I read that Kambosos thought Haney's performance was better than Tank's, so I'm guessing he'll get the fight.

Eddie is saying March. But he represents the B side by a mile here.

Lou says Haney is about 4th on the list of guys George Kambobos Jr is lookin at.
Nice one Eddie
Just because you say your choosing dates for your guy Haney to fight Kambosos next year doesn't mean Jack when Haney is the B side and your not Kambosos' manager or promoter
