Sanchez upping the pace and inflicting damage. Seemed to hurt Hammer to the body. Hoping Sanchez can keep up the intensity.

He is fast and slick, but I reckon he's lacking a bit of JSQ to beat Whyte.
Lacks intensity - he's winning every minute but not looking like he's hurting Hammer.

Did hammer throw a punch that round? he has entered the Kingpin era of his carrer, just picking up a cheque. just plodding fowards getting hit, but frank is so negative he isnt even getting hit much in that mode.

I honestly think the ref knew that wasnt a KD and called it so the A sider had something nice written on his boxrec (or cause he was grumpy about hammer holding).

During the last three years, Christian Hammer has only defeated two of the six opponents he’s faced… and both of the fighters he beat were utterly disgraceful journeymen that had 24 losses on their record.
Frank Sanchez doesn’t need the rounds, since he’s fought plenty of them during his twenty-fight pro career.
Instead he needed an opponent that would challenge him, allowing Sanchez to learn and improve… and Christian Hammer was never going to be that guy!
It was an inevitably pointless fight that’s actually harmed the Cuban’s career by detracting from the forward momentum he gained from the Ajagba victory.
Has Frank Sanchez simply experienced a one-off bad day at the office or did we make too much of the Ajagba win (excessively flattering the Cuban, by regarding his victory over the Nigerian as a greater achievement than it really was)?

But he can look a lot better than that against someone trying to win.

He's top ten material. Maybe never a champ, but there have been worse contenders than him, we saw one already in Washington

Maybe, but he's very skillful, technical and has great boxing ability. Add his great physical condition and it's a nice package. He lacks that decision to go forward and finish his opponent. But he's gonna be VERY difficult to beat. Either you KO him (not an easy task by any means) or you rob him on the cards. Beating him on points in a legit way looks very very hard.
