So Warren already has Joyce scheduled in again for September 24 but without an opponent yet....mean's another low-mid calibre fighter surely then.....
Who could be in the mix for that do we think?

Any of them would suit me. I'd like the Kabayel fight personally, poor bloke hasn't had many chances.

Wouldn't have thought it would be Hrgovic, think they rescheduled the Zhang fight and it'll probably go on Canelo-GGG III or AJ-Usyk II undercard. Think Dubois rematch will be lined up for early next year.

Optimistically I think the best they'll do for September is Whyte if they offer enough & that seems doubtful.

Bakole or Helenius would be good. Even Wallin is probably an acceptable opponent. Kabayel too, he is undefeated at least. Would imagine it'll be one of the names you mention.

Around 1800 tops I’d say, Mark Chamberlain had a bit of a following but they all disappeared after his fight. Tommy Fletcher seemed to have a bit of support too but they all stuck around…I guess they wanted their money’s worth!

the less threatning joe's opposition is the more he seems to get hit............obviously his D ain't great, but i think a lot of it is having no respect for the opponent's firepower. if he were to fight someone more dangerous i'd expect him to box better, and we've already seen him do that

seen it so many times where a top guy is sloppy and just doesn't care when he's in these types of fights vs vastly overmatched opposition...

Yeh. Maybe fighting like this will help get him bigger and better fights.

tete looked nice, destroyed cunny. really talented guy who just isnt quite durable for the elite but might beat everyone else

will prob get another shot at the wbo or ibf soon

DDD was firing and landing almost at will until the injury and that's his best pro opponent and no defence there.
I've only seen highlights of the Hammer fight, but same thing until he gassed ridiculously early.
I have to admit that now I have no hope that Joyce can do anything against the top guys, even Parker is going to wail away at his face.
And has Joe got even slower, or was he just on a bit of an off night?

parker never beats anyone in the top 15 handily, maybe a shopworn chisora who almost beat him the first time and that's it. couldnt even dent or land much clean on junior fa. that fight should happen jj-jojo.

ya joyce gets hit, but he's a huge very powerful guy who wins time after time. should be an olympic champ. beat lots of decent fighters in wsb and ams (hrgovic, jalolov, dychko, yoka, vykrst,etc). made the hotshot young star who was supposed to beat him quit. despite his lack of speed he's quite accurate and obviously effective. we're falling back into this trap of underrating him again because his style isnt pretty. even in this win he stopped hammer faster than anyone else since his debut

his biggest issue is getting the fights he need soon enough.....it's not him being out of his depth vs guys like joe parker, because that simply isnt the case. not even junior fa was.

this is like reading people's comments on joyce-wallisch all over again, the fight right before joyce forced the much more favoured and massively hyped danny to take dat full 10 down and out

joyce an excellent 14-2 in wsb , olympic silver and loads of am titles, 14-0 (13) euro, british, commonwealth champ with a stoppage of the biggest hyped HW prospect in the world at the time.............yet apparently dude still sucks. what's his secret then i wonder

The usual plodding, heavy-handed Joyce, who is in line to get rocked badly when opponents will fight back and land some fast, heavy shots.

Tete competing at the Commonwealth level is some joke but he had to given the long layoff after Casimero's shock. Whippy and slick, a pleasure to watch.

What a shock, Joyce beats Hammer who hasn't had a decent win since 2018 and lost three of his last five.

Utter joke of a fight. Pointless. And it seems he's going to have another pointless fight next.

What is it with British fighters choosing the easiest opponent possible?

Joyce proved that he can make a watchable fight even against Hammer. It was a trademark Joe: go forward, take unnecessary punches, don't feel those, overwhelm the opponent.

It'll be good to see Joyce against Parker or Whyte, or Ruiz-Ortiz winner, or any other top guy, which, of course, isn't realistic. Well, they had some talk with Parker, so this one probably can happen next. The Dubois rematch seems OK too, just for the justice, since the loser of their first bout already has a paper strap.

Whilst I agree that Joyce will likely fight better when the opposition steps up, I do think it’s a bit worrying how much he’s being clocked clean by the likes of Hammer (and in the fight against Takam).

Whilst he’s winning, I think he may actually deteriorating as a fighter. Perhaps he’s buying in to the juggernaut thing. He’ll walk through shots from C-level heavyweights all day but the cumulative affect may mean that when he steps up he may be more more susceptible to being hurt.

He sets an excellent pace and is going to be tough to beat but I think I’d actually favour Dubois if they fought again. Joyce jabbed well when they fought, his pace was slower and he was taking the power out of Dubois’ right hand and Dubois didn’t have a plan B. I think if they fought again then Dubois would be better prepared and perhaps Joyce not so good.

The fact that less than 2,000 people were there shows how poorly he’s been promoted since beating Dubois. He needs a big fight and quick. I get the impression that they were looking for a PPV against Parker but if they try PPV against Wallin then it’d be a tough sell.

The eye test tells me, that Joyce will break everyone, except Fury and Usyk. He is extremely tough, he has never seemed bothered with taking punches from anybody, including Dubois. He's strong and has a great workrate. You can't trade with him. Only sublime boxers gotta deal with such relentless powerhouse.

Despite his previous credentials looks to me that we’ve seen the best Jo Jo we will see. Hammer didn’t quit due to the frenetic pace; he quit because he had zero cardio vascular ability… probably brought on by lack of training.

I don’t wanna see the Wallin fight as we don’t know if Wallin is any good (he’s getting so much credit for cutting Fury but getting battered).

The Dub fight makes sense for Dub only and no point in rehashing old ground for Joyce. I think I’d favour DD in the rematch anyways.

24th Sept is not too far… so they need to be getting the opponent in the next few weeks if they want a meaningful fight. Obvs won’t be Parker. Ruiz fighting Ortiz. AJ v Usyk. Hunter fighting Fury. Wilder too expensive; Whyte more than likely the same.

When you think of exciting fighters you automatically think of dynamic, explosive fighters but Joyce is so slow and ponderous but he's must watch imo, he'll always be in entertaining fights, I've not seen much of his amateur career but his credentials amaze me, I doubt he was ever the quickest boxer and his defence is so lax that it's incredible to me that he can win over 3 rounds or 5 in WSB

But here he is, Juggernaut keeps on rolling, him and Joshua is a fascinating fight
