Barring jabs Mayer didn't land anything in the last, Baumgardner landed a lot of power body shots but Sky give Mayer the last??

The absence of the third minute in a fight like that feels like you’re robbed of the decisiveness that would have come, in terms of confidently scoring the round.
Sometimes naff all happens until the round is half over.

It should be very close, but I'm expecting Mayer to get this very wide. 98-92 sort of scores.

Yep. Baum could have won that on my card fairly comfortably though had she just had more output in 3 rounds.

You could see both those could have done 2 more rounds.
I'm not in favour of 12x3s just yet but maybe move to 12x2s for World title fights. Leave British, European titles and all other titles as 10x2s.
