I voted bivol by points - maybe cos I prefer him to beterbiev.
but it wont surprise anyone if he catches bivol with one of those sledgehammer punches that seem to have done so much damage in his previous fights - especially the ones on the top of the head that he sneaks in .

Oh definitely, she hasn't had a hit for 20 years.
I don't mind Liam Gallagher, but having him right before the main event was a bit of a buzzkill on what was a very enjoyable card last time. At least this time if you don't like some has been-rapper, you can tune in later for the boxing.

these Game of Thrones-esque promos for the fight are shit. is that really Bivol and Beter acting in them or AI? Are we going to see some more horror on the night like the Dubois emerging bloodied from a bath? Who's doing this? DAZN or Turki (in which case I apologise, love it)

I think it’s deliberate - moving towards Saudi being the entertainment capital of the world

Bivol on how he’s training to deal with Beterbiev’s power
“Many times people ask me ‘how you going to — what are you going to change for this opponent, what you going to change for that opponent?’ Most of time time I’m working on my good skills. I cannot add something new, I can only improve my skills — it will be better.

“And this is my recommendation for all the fighters. You don’t need to change too much something, you need to prove you good skills.”

On how he rates Beterbiev’s skills compared to his own
“He has a good punch, he’s strong, he’s really strong, he’s good in endurance, and he pressures a lot. And of course to get used to these things, sparring partners help.

“My skills, everybody knows if they watch my fights. I like to use the jab, I like to move.”

On what going undisputed means to him
“It means a lot. It’s like final step in my journey. I had this dream from when I moved to pro from amateur boxing and now I have this chance.”

On if a win over Beterbiev would mean more to him than his win over Canelo
“It’s not about personality, it’s about belt. Of course fighting for the belt is much more meaningful for me, to be marked in the history. It’s a lot. Of course it’s much more meaningful.”

Can't wait for this, what a matchup. Finding it hard to go against Beterbiev, leaning towards a late stoppage for Artur. Hoping for a classic either way, 2 great fighters!

This is going to be mega.

Big plot twist with what Bivol’s ex has said. He certainly hasn’t been fighting like a fighter carrying all those injuries. But couldn’t pull the trigger v Lyndon.

Both are elite but I think AB is going to cement his legacy alongside Usyk as an all-time great here. I just cannot pick against him.

Let’s goooo

I haven’t got the foggiest so I’ll just see what different odds look like for a sneaky bet. Bivol with rumoured injuries and Bert with a definite one. They’ve been dead even all the way up to this and now Bivol is slight favourite.

Bivol hits harder than people think and his chin seems solid but Artur is a force of nature.

Can’t pick, and tempted to bet on both if I can make it make sense

A few stand out bets for me:
Opetaia by decision 4/1
Wardley to be knocked down and win 9/1
Clarke to be knocked down and win 11/1
Wardley to win in rounds 1-6 15/2
Bivol to win and land 200+ punches 13/5
Bivol by KO 13/2
Beterbiev to be knocked down 4/1
Beterbiev to be knocked down and win 18/1
Bivol to be knocked down and win 11/1

Houston previewing for BN going for Bivol on points in a close one.

Interesting they have a separate side bar story re betting on this fight.

Even at 39 I think Beterbiev is getting it done here. Via stoppage. Can’t wait man!

Opetaia points is crazy thanks, that’s deffo going on. He went the distance with Joe Parker.

Bivol KO looks good, I can see a corner stoppage or maybe even an injury.

Those are the 2 I like. Massey is a tough bastard would be no shock for him to go the distance. Bivol ko not as big with other bookies. Round about 6/1 it’s good value in a real pick ‘em fight.
