Are you trying to set off the weirdos that said Fury was too scared to fight?

Depends if the £10mill clause is still in the contract to ensure Fury doesn't try to back out again.
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II | PPV - 21 December 2024
More than enough reason for Fury to carry confidence into the rematch, especially if he manages to be fitter than last time.
Up until he got thumped on the nose, he was doing pretty damn well.

Love the way Fury glosses over the fact he was absolutely spattered in round 9, and out on his feet. He mentions the broken nose as if it happened by accident.
Describes Usyk, as 'like an amateur boxer' except of course Usyk was the one who landed all the heaviest shots.
Just confirmed what I thought already, Fury has zero class, and is an utter helmet.

he got blasted in the 9th round, survived ( albeit with the help of the ref ), and was fighting back throughout the 12th. you dont do that without superb conditioning. whether he looks better or not, he wont be any fitter than last time.

He has never struggled to do 12 rounds, even after being badly hurt. I think some people would be better off watching body building.

Yeah Fury never looks in great condition and fighting fit isn't the same as being body beautiful. I'm sure plenty of us remember Bruno being knackered mid fight but looking like he was chiseled out of marble. I don't think Fury will get any 'fitter' or look any different to what he normally looks like, a lot of that is down to genetics. But to go 12 rounds at the highest level without looking like he was gassed just shows how fit he actually is.mickey1975 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2024, 09:26He has never struggled to do 12 rounds, even after being badly hurt. Well done to the big lad for surviving 12 rounds against a guy 6 inches shorter and 38lbs lighter

Rarely have I seen a poster sum up their knowledge of boxing in one post like you have just managed....The Gratest wrote: ↑22 Jun 2024, 10:26 Well done to the big lad for surviving 12 rounds against a guy 6 inches shorter and 38lbs lighter![]()

What's incorrect with what i've written? Fury himself was stating how much larger he was and how easy it was going to be pre-fight.mickey1975 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2024, 10:53Rarely have I seen a poster sum up their knowledge of boxing in one post like you have just managed....The Gratest wrote: ↑22 Jun 2024, 10:26 Well done to the big lad for surviving 12 rounds against a guy 6 inches shorter and 38lbs lighter![]()

Here was my pre-fight prediction using my limited boxing knowledge. Usyk to set the pace and outlast Fury over the final few rounds. Pretty much spot on apart from Fury getting pasted around the ring in one of those roundsmickey1975 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2024, 10:53Rarely have I seen a poster sum up their knowledge of boxing in one post like you have just managed....The Gratest wrote: ↑22 Jun 2024, 10:26 Well done to the big lad for surviving 12 rounds against a guy 6 inches shorter and 38lbs lighter![]()
What about you with your vastly superior boxing knowledge Mick, what was your pick?
Biggest fight in a long long time.
I'm still a bit undecided about the outcome. Fury knows how to win, what he has to do to win, and wouldn't care if keeping it long using a jab-cross-body shot then clinch and maul routine made it a stinker but got him the victory.
The Ngannou performance has no bearing on this, he clearly didn't train properly and took him lightly. He looks in shape though and will have a game plan and back up plan.
I see Usyk as being the more skilled of the two and will be the one setting the pace. He makes his opponents work and constantly think with his feints and movement. Fury seems to be burning a bit more nervous energy pre-fight than i've ever seen before and he'll have his stamina tested to the full.
I think Usyk might nick it over the final rounds with Fury's legs beginning to tire and becoming a more stationary target.

Hey, credit where it's due, good call, but I'm not too surprised, you are unhealthily obsessed with Fury. Do you watch any other boxer?

Fury thinks he won, so I don't see him changing anything. It's just my opinion, I mean, I don't know the guy, but I think he's too stubborn/delusional to do anything different. I think he's buying into his own hype, whereas Usyk is not.
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II | PPV - 21 December 2024
He may just showboat less at least, even that would go a long way in him doing better I think. I'd say though he needs to entirely adjust his gameplan, but like you said he probably won't.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑23 Jun 2024, 14:28 Fury thinks he won, so I don't see him changing anything.
