They are doing the official weighs in UFC style I.e. early in the morning so the fighters can get on with rehydration. The weigh ins with the crowd are ceremonial, the official weights from earlier are just read off a piece of paper.

I think the occasion got to him a bit, he looked a bit in awe of it all. I think his reaction to losing was like it was inevitable, he was happy with his winnings regardless what happened it seemed.

You are both right, I reckon. Being in the spotlight is tiring especially when it's new to you. His missus is locked up too, isn't she, so he's dealing with that and he can't be far removed from the stress that goes with being around criminality even if he's not active. On first listen he sounds like everything is water off a duck's back to him but you don't meet many people who a genuinely unflappable.

Plus, he's simply not on the same level or trajectory as the bloke he was fighting.

Liam needs to make sure he puts the requisite amount aside to pay his 25/26 tax properly and spend the rest on bricks and mortar.
