Anyone with the faintest understanding of this boxing malarkey knew the ref should have jumped straight in right before Milas identified it. That was piss poor.

The fact he STILL counted when he was floored the second time. Unbelievable.

If Milas was swinging wildly that would be one thing, but he was sharp and dangerous at the end there.

Thankfully Shala doesn’t appear any worse off for it.

Didn't see the ko as I was watching fiat clutches being replaced.

But it struck me in the earlier rounds I saw I've never seen such a flat footed referee,
Walked around the ring like he wasn't interested, most bizarre.

I don’t think he made the first count. One the count was longgg. And even at the end he looked all over the place. (And that was evedent by the fact the could not defend himself at all after)…

But if you somehow let him through the first count you gotta stop it on the ropes after the 2nd? 3rd? 4th? 5th clean right hand?

Thats all befor the bit where Milas signals what the fvck are you doing ref. Then floors him. And the ref is counting and absolutely refusing to stop. To the point where the trainer has to get in…

Fighter safety should be the biggest issue here… but to me the real issue is how much this stinks of bias reffing… trying to get his boy to survive.

I have seen this befor (not so bad) where a side gets tooo bashed up because the ref is trying to have them survive.

This needs to be investigated for both danger and bias.

Crowd is well up for this - George Warren admitting he didn't think he'd sell THIS well.

Definite shades of Lee Every's performance when Callum Simpson was getting bashed up the other week, total A side bias, and as you say, getting the lad hurt in the process

Does anyone actually know how to pronounce Kabayel’s first name?!

Is it A Git or A Jit?

I’ve heard both tonight and am still none the wiser.

It does sound like a cracking atmosphere in there, doesn’t it?

Yeah feels like those old Universum and Sauerland bills from the late 90s/early 2000s that used to clearly bring in big bucks as their fighters were able to stay in Germany quite happily raking it in.

Somehow forgot that one but perfect example. No other sport accepts that there will be bias reffing and or judging. But boxing it’s kinda just a given it’s crazy.

Another chance for Kabayel to prove that he is the best active heavyweight out there today.

This has actually been his era all along but we just don't know it yet.

mental. alternative reality he lives in
I don’t know a single person who likes him. We’ve got Carl, Barry and Darren RIGHT THERE. I just don’t understand why he’s still there, surely someone has had a word?
Love Bazza and Darren. honestly that's enough. saves Dazn some money too
I understand the broadcasters will always want a dramatic presenter type. The nature of this forum and us means we all want expert analysis more than the other one. They clearly have the technology to provide different audio, or even 0 commentary.

Someone in the DAZN chat has just said 'Agit means wet poop in my language.'

For some reason that tickled me.

Anyone know this opponent?

Carrer best win coffe? Dweko? Donovan?

Hard to see how he has gotten this fight. I guess it’s a showcase, so I expect him to be stopped within 6….

If kab wanted to prepare for a Usyk type he would have picked a decent mobile guy. Not a no name 6”7 unproven guy.

I watched him fight on US bills a couple of times.

A big bloke who doesn't look Euro level to me. Someone who Gary Mason would have whacked out in a couple of rounds on a Wednesday night on an undercard in Wandsworth.

I watched a few of his fights yesterday and that reach is definitely a weapon. no idea of his chin but he can scrap when he wants
