Great card so far. I said in the other thread that Martinez good work was ignore by comms but Bam has just totally took control now.
I’d call him #4 P4P on the eye test
Him and Bivol?
What did youse think of the other fonts so far?
Also, I’m finally a middleweight. I’ve spent years of my life chatting shite on this forum

An amazing fighter but bam fights I find a bit boring, because you just know what’s going to happen. There’s no suspense, he’s going to completely dominate the other guy grind him down or win on points.
Re: Round-by-Round: David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde - 22 November 2025
I’m struggling with this.
I’m also losing confidence in Yarde every time I think of the main event. I don’t even think he has a punchers chance, frankly.

Is Bam too small to take on Inoue? They’re about same height and reach.
Bam’s like El radar Wilfred Benitez, the way he avoids punches

I’ve heard a lot from this commentary team about big muscles, and how Rodriguez is “playing with his food”. Not exactly profound stuff.
I like how they’ve got a lad from the Nottingham area doing the Spanish translation though.

Beautiful finish, that.
Re: Round-by-Round: David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde - 22 November 2025
Bam smashes him on down in the 10th round. Devastating lopsided performance.
TKO 10 Bam Rodriguez

You’re probably right, I would’ve just liked to have a decent excuse for being below par all day tomorrow.
Yarde is accustomed to losing conclusively when he steps up. Tonight looks like another of those nights.

Pure sex again from Rodriguez, don't get me wrong Martinez landed most rounds, tough hombre but if he'd land the first shot he'd miss the second, third and forth, Bam would slip and counter, his footwork again, the angles, the way he mixed up with speed, power and variety is truly amazing, just a joy to watch him go through the gears patiently dissecting Martinez was special, coolness personafied, Martinez was struggling with his nose for most of the fight and couldnt get into it, had to take his beating, the KO was spectacular, slipped the shot and nailed him with the left and that was that, sublime

Krusher was too soon, Bert was more or less a peak GOAT contender AND he's getting better...Kilburn wrote: ↑22 Nov 2025, 21:01You’re probably right, I would’ve just liked to have a decent excuse for being below par all day tomorrow.

I think Benny is all wrong for Yarde, but he's a live dog every time he fights - as natural an explosive hitter as you'll see..
Re: Round-by-Round: David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde - 22 November 2025
Yarde has good speed, power and instincts for 6 rounds, but Benavidez has some serious skills, combinations and speed.
Would like Anthony to win but, you know....Benavidez is class.

I’m usually a lot more optimistic about a Brits chances, but Benavidez is just so tough. And Yarde has that battery that is on borrowed time as soon as the first bell rings.skanksta wrote: ↑22 Nov 2025, 21:05Krusher was too soon, Bert was more or less a peak GOAT contender AND he's getting better...

Maybe he is just going in there to have a dramatic 3 round fight. Would love to see it.

excelent finnish, but i wasnt impressed with that preformance, martinez looked shit.
Bam is very good. no doubt, but i feel theres not many good fights for him. feels like inoue and nakatini are/have ruined the divisions befor he gets there...

Norman has got that Marvin Hagler vibe going on, pretty sure that outfit is a homage too
Re: Round-by-Round: David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde - 22 November 2025
Yep, Benavidez is long, big and strong and fights at a great pace for 12 rounds that Yarde probably can't handle...Kilburn wrote: ↑22 Nov 2025, 21:11I’m usually a lot more optimistic about a Brits chances, but Benavidez is just so tough. But I bet on Yarde @ 9.4 - just the price..

To my knowledge I’ve never heard of a fighter from Decatur before.
Re: Round-by-Round: David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde - 22 November 2025
Good 1st round for Haney mostly. He got tagged by a pretty stiff jab at one point, but not a lot else. If he can keep it at this pace it certainly favors him.
1-0 Haney
