They would never let each other go
They might have to start blurring and pixelating the screen. Who knows what they'll get up to when the other boxer isn't trying to push them off and they're both going for it.

Realistically will he be able to afford putting Adam Asim on the BBC? Eubank def wouldn't get out of bed for BBC money.
I guess now he will need to build fighters, and also fighters he can get without signing on
Lauren Price is probably his biggest ticket seller now (on the strict condition that she never fights outside Wales ).
Callum Simpson is probably the biggest seller in the UK.

Give Adeley a soft bounce back fight.
Clarke retires
Allen vs TKV

(Is Allen Vs tkv a headline? Or is it a solid undercard option?)…
It’ll be a headline fight for DAZN in Sheffield if Allen wants it.
TKV v Allen is a winner on numerous levels. Do it in a carpark.

People do TKV down because of his stoppage loss to that rando Brazilian journeyman, but he will surely shine now as the jewel in the crown of the bbc stable. Boxxer will build him into a huge national /international name.

He will need to fight some names to do that.
Maybe a good idea would be to fight some names who aren't international quality, like the Romford Bull and Dave Allen.
Nevertheless they will need to be really careful he doesn't lose those fights.
But his fan friendly style will ensure that he will be in barnstorming fights with the fans on the edge of their seats and their hearts in their mouths.

From a BBC perspective, in terms of interest in the fight and value for money, the top opponents they'd want for TKV will likely be Allen, Adeleye, Hughie, Dacres and Fisher. Whether they can get them to take the fight, we will see. They might even consider Jordan Thompson if he can get a win at heavyweight.

It feels with someone as awful as TKV as British heavyweight champion, British heavyweight boxing is now on a downward spiral, possibly with the exception of Moses Ituama...and that this stage it could still very much go pop !

Let's be honest we've had an unprecedented run for about the last 20 years with Fury and Joshua, not to mention a string of other contenders/fringe contenders like Dubois, Joyce, Chisora, Price & Whyte that have come & gone. A remarkable period in British heavyweight boxing.

Strange thing but TKV will get more exposure than Wardley now , he ticks all the boxes for the BBC now. If gets a fight with someone like Fisher or Allen it will do very well on the BBC

Yeah but TKV is likely to lose those fights, and also will FW and Fast Car allow their fighters to fight on the BBC? And for not a lot of money

Our heavyweights are very strong, TKV prob only just scrapes into the British top 15, if that

I’m biased when it comes to Harvey (as the forum knows) but he beat TKV twice as an amateur. Would be a good fight - both come to have a go.

Frostieballs, Can I ask how we are we are measuring "come to have a go" ? :maybe:

In my book, I'd say Dubois always came to have a go at the same stage of his career. I can't see a comparison to TKV or Dykes in any way, shape or form.

Dubois filled me with optimism for the future, TKV and Dykes fill me with pessimism and dread for what lies ahead :verysad:

They might be more limited in ability and potential than Dubois but TKV has been willing to take fights that he's an underdog in, and then actually trying to win rather than roll over, before reaching world level.

Coco, I'm not so sure. I'm talking British heavyweights competing & winning at the highest level.

Fury & Joshua's days are numbered. Joshua probably already finished. Whyte is finished at anywhere near the level he once competed.

Until Ituama proves he can come through, I think it's only Dubois now and after getting completely humbled by the incomparable Usyk, time will tell what part he has to play in world class.

The rest of the pack look weak.

I almost forgot that Wardley is on a great run. How long for with his limited skills ? I don't know. Certainly, he better be kept a million miles away from Kabayel.

joshj909, there's a difference between taking fights because their options are limited and getting in ring with someone dangerous and "coming to fight".

Who in their right mind would pay for a ticket to watch TKV ? :maybe:

Dykes has a following, but nowhere near enough to sustain a lucrative income and set him up.

The pair of them might come out of their shell and turn aggressor when they think it's safe to do so, but neither are fearless when the 1st bell sounds and deliver poor viewing spectacles. The same cannot be said of Dubois, which is why I use him as a yardstick.

Dubois was expected to beat everyone he faced, even Joyce, before stepping up further. It's easy for boxers to "come to fight" when the opponent doesn't fight back or is unable to match the same level. Using Dubois as a yardstick, when fighting at his level he comes to fight then rolls over when put under pressure late if he's not on top.

It would be a decent fight one of those which is within the BBC budget, winnable for TKV, but as you said your man will fancy the job

Someone like TKV is at the top of his level here.

Now we have AJ, Tyson, Whyte, Del boy and JJ who are at the end of their careers and looking to cash in.

DDD and Wardley are in the title mix at the moment.

For the future Moses, Okolie, Riakpore, and maybe Hughie Fury are hoping to get into the mix.

Folk around the British title mix at the moment and who are on TKVs level are Adeleye, Dacres, Allen, Fisher, Welch, Jolly. Pat Brown is still on his way up and worth avoiding. Adeleye is a natural but would FW allow it? And would TKV fancy it after getting whacked? I think he would def lose against Allen. Dacres is a difficult fella to beat too unless you are quick and good enough to get on top of him. I think Fisher and Dykes would be good, evenly matched fights. Doubt it Fast Car would ok it for Fisher..

I think for a first defence, both Welch and Jolly would be the best, TKV would be favourite to win, and the fights are easy to make

The BBC can't afford to pay the money for any of them.

Maybe Hughie would take it once he get his man strength though.
