It won’t because Trumpy would pardon her immediately if she were convicted. Unless Dems win in 2029 and don’t try her until then, but I am not sure what the statute of limitations is on government theft in the US

I think this is what was strongly implied they are planning on doing. Whether they can stay focused for another 3 years, keep all the receipts and actually bring people to justice is another matter entirely.

ETA: if tax evasion essentially has no statute of limitations on it then without looking into it at all, I’m going to assume the same for defrauding the government.

I think it's beginning to hit people whether they were for him or against him that things aren't all going to be better after Trump. It's going to be worse. It's going to be worse throughout the remainder of his term, and it'll possibly be even worse when his term is over due to the fallout of everything that has/will go on in his term.
