Azim should get the fight signed as soon as possible on that showing.

If Dalton won that, Ray Hatton is a good father and Adam Smith had cancer.

Eddie is funny.
He says Smith is the best fighter at 140.
He then reminds us all the Ring magazine champion is Stevenson.
Puello beat Smith tonight. Shakur will make him too silly.

I had it 115-113 Smith but my 7 year old daughter has been running about like a maniac, even before the result in a close fight like that i thought it could've been 116-112 Puello, he took the opener but i thought Smith boxed himself into things but Puello came back, his jab was better id say but both had their best success with the left hand counters, some real quality stuff if not that exciting, there were a lot of close rounds where you can pick what you like, Smith slightly more aggressive, Puello maybe more better looking punches, I'm glad Smith won, I thought he deserved it, another great win

Imagine the meltdown if he lost though. He was so confident with the showboating in the 12th, he fought a dreadful fight. No pop in his shots and generally outfought quite handily by Puello. Ah well it happens

If you see that as Dalton you’re moving mad. Bonkers. And I wanted Dalton to win and bet accordingly. I wouldn’t be too quick to pick Azim over Smith.
Stevenson is a hard one though, maybe they think with a few gestures from Dalton that he wants a tear up more, he’ll get the nod in that one too.

Thought Alberto Puello pulled it out, 116-112, but a few difficult-to-score rounds over the last half. Same score as one of the judges. No issue with Dalton Smith earning the split decision. Puello is an awkward, crafty boxer and Smith will gain valuable experience. Compelling title fight from UK.

I think dreadful is a bit OTT. A little bit delusional maybe. He could have legitimately won if he was prepared to go after the guy.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑24 Oct 2026, 17:24Imagine the meltdown if he lost though. Really poor card without being able to blame anyone in particular.
I’ve been really really high on Visioli since watching him in the NACs/ABAs but he’s naturally gonna have some stinkers. I thought the cards should’ve been wider, but I don’t see why he can’t improve and learn from that.
Anything from 116-112 Puello to 144-114 draw seemed fair to me. I think any Americans watching will have a stick to beat us Brits with now. Also, absolutely no one can say Puello’s name correctly
Anyone staying up for the American card?

I had Smith losing by 4 or 5. Rounds 2-5 were his best but apart from that I thought he was poor. He didn’t look like the champion in that fight at all.

#SmithPuello goes 12 mostly uneventful rounds. I have it 114-114. Close if you picked a winner. Not a very good fight IMO. #boxing
