Really, then explain the booing of the US anthem at the millenium stadium during manfredo Cazaghe. nowt to do with "brits abroad". The "Hatton fans" really were well behaved in Vegas, if booing the anthem is the worst the papers can find then happy days.

I have been known to get drunk, dance on the tables, fall off, throw up and then fall asleep at weddings... but luckily they werent playing the American anthem at the time otherwise I would probably be in that nice hotel in Cuba right now... 8) :roll: :TU:

Grendal wrote: Of course , the only nation justified in booing another country`s anthem is the Scots when we boo the English national anthem , which is an anti Scottish song which they still try to force us to accept as our own.
The English national anthem doesn't contain any anti-Scottish reference, as the "offending" words were removed from the official version:

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and Glorious,
Long to reign over us;
God save the Queen!

O Lord our God arise,
Scatter her enemies
And make them fall;
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
Oh, save us all!

Thy choicest gifts in store
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign;
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen!

Not in this land alone,
But be God's mercies known,
From shore to shore!
Lord make the nations see,
That men should brothers be,
And form one family,
The wide world over

From every latent foe,
From the assassins blow,
God save the Queen!
O'er her thine arm extend,
For Britain's sake defend,
Our mother, prince, and friend,
God save the Queen!

So come along you Jacobite invader... sing up!! :TU: :lol:
