He's doing everything right really. Having Joe Parker in camp full-time is great. Top drawer technical sparring and then bring in the likes of Miller to let the hands go. Fury is way too good for Whyte, I think.
Parker doesn't spar with Tyson, they do train together though.
I was under the impression they did technical sparring ("touch sparring") fairly frequently?
Hmm, I'm only going by what Parker said in a interview recently. They are friends and have trained a lot together in the last two years. And bedire hearing that, I thought they sparred all the time, I mean, why wouldn't you?
So I'm only going by what Parker said, and I would put money on him telling the truth from his strict upbringing he doesn't have it in him to talk a load of bollarky, like say- Tyson.

I don't think they spar hard, I've not heard that, so he's not lying. Technical spars and body spars are very different,

Like I said, I'm only going by a Parker interview.
And also, I believe Parker over Tyson.
But hey, like has been posted, there are different types of sparring and different ways people think of them.
Parker might think sparring is padded and gloved up in the ring, and Tyson might think it is any exchange of feints etc.

Makes me think this is just a cash out & retire for Whyte. Either that or he’s a retard.
If he isn’t retiring it’s a bizarre move to fornicate off BT Sport & ESPN when you manage fighters. DAZN won’t be around for long so you need as many TV companies as possible that you’re on good terms with.
Eh …. ? Whyte a retard ? His strategy has been spot on and he’s getting paid nicely (he might have to go to court to get it but he will get it).
DAZN are a big global corporation. They’ll be around a lot longer than the Sports arm of BT.

I called him "Easy on the knuckles"
Even his head is coated in a nice squidgy layer of fat. Plus he is roughly the same height. Dillian is a much better boxer though.

How’s it spot on? What’s he achieving? Fury’s whole career has been chaos, failed drug test, obesity, Kinahan, trainer, dying, trainer barred from US etc. It isn’t going to rattle him.
Frank’s angry every week. He used to write a weekly column for years ranting. He lives for it.
I don’t think DAZN will be around for long, backed by a Russian billionaire & making huge losses.
It seems shortsighted to me to piss BT & ESPN off.

He’s got a rival promoter to clearly over pay him …. £8M … !!
When DAZN float on the stock market they’ll be even bigger than they are now

Why does he care? Surely as a fighter you want your profile as big as possible? Surely as a manager you want to be on good terms with as many broadcasters as possible?

I really don’t get why Whyte’s a retard. Win or loose against Fury he can go on and have a string of big profile fight on any broadcaster that offers him the best deal. Warren mocked him when he lost to Povetkin so why would he give a f_uck about Warren now.
I don’t know too much about the fighters he manages but if they’re any good they’ll have decent careers irrespective of his own career path or his current beef with whomever.
Whyte likes to ruffle feathers and in the long term I think that will earn him respect.

Next week expect a Million Eddie Hearn interviews about Fr*nk Wa*r*n. Whose inside whose head?
Arsenal vs Manchester United is on that day (12:30) on BT Sport.
Warren has momentum.
Bob needs to do his part.
Fight week will be interesting.

Does Fwank have momentum? This will be his first semi decent fight of the year... while i hate rewarding this undercard, Hopefully it makes money, would be terrible for everyone signed with him if its a loss.

Eddie will be talking about everyone as he always does. I’m pretty sure all of the YouTube guys will be asking him for his thoughts on the Fury undercard for clickbait.
Warren has momentum?! 2 shows in just over 3 months that totalled to one fairly good domestic fight involving 2 fighters that no one outside of hardcore fans would have heard of. His other show in March and his next one have fighters in the main event that 90% of us on here wouldn’t have heard about before they were mentioned (Metz and Le Couviour).

Frank has said Whyte is breaching his promotional obligations.

“He’s obliged to do certain things,” Warren told SecondsOut.com. “Everything he doesn’t do is going to be a problem afterward. Breach of contract is a breach of contract.
“One thing I’ve never done is roll over in my life. I’m not rolling over for him, that’s for sure. He needs to show up and he needs to meet his obligations, he needs to do all the things that all boxers do when they’re involved in big fights.”
“This guy is getting 32 times the purse he got lodged by the WBC for his last fight,” Warren said. “Why am I the enemy? Why? We’re paying him good money. He’s getting fortunes.”
“Our point of communication is with Jeff Benz, and Jeff Benz is absolutely ridiculous in where he’s at,” Warren said. “All he keeps doing is going off center, off course, coming up with other stuff that’s not in the contract.
"All I want Dillian Whyte to do is what is in the contract, nothing more, nothing less. Up to now he has not done that. He’s in breach. He’s not done that.”

Sounds like Warren is going to try and get out of paying him even though he's underpaying him already. If Frank's lawyer put 'reasonable' in the contract without clarifying what it means in these terms "then maybe he should sue his lawyer"?
Frank's becoming the British Don King. Where's Terry Marsh when you need him.

If, and it’s a big if, Whyte wins then this could get really messy for him with Frank withholding payment.
His lawyer’s argument will be based on there not being anything specific with what constitutes promotion in the contract. They’d argue that doing the fight week press conference (I’d imagine Whyte would say very little) would be enough whilst obviously wants a lot more.
I wonder if Frank regrets singing ‘you’re not mandatory any more’ after Dillian was beat by Povetkin.
