Usyk turned down the Fury fight in December.
Was Joshua doing the catwalk at Milan Fashion show an indicator that he was preparing to fight Fury?
Who is Joshua fighting in December?
He's gonna fight in the new year now.
No sh1t Sherlock.
Do you, lennox and maverick still believe he was in serious training for 3 December?
I never thought he was in serious training for it. I think he had a long camp for Usyk and an 8 week camp for Fury not too long post Usyk would be fine.

I'd imagine AJ would involve a far more thorough camp. He can half arse a camp for Del. The media are reporting AJ refusing the fight as fact now.
Who do you mean by ‘the media’? I haven’t seen anyone reporting it that way.
Newspapers.

Understood. 👍 I don’t often read a paper and when I do they never seem to focus on boxing.

In the past 3 years he has boxed once a year.
For many years he has has lengthy overseas "conditioning" training before a 12 week camp.
Only fantasists believe that he was boxing on 3 December.

I heard he was wearing some very heavy denim shirts on the Milan catwalk. We all know how heavy clothing can affect your leg muscles (D Wilder).

The contract was sent on the 17th/18th Sep, that gives just 11 weeks until the 3rd December.
So you're saying that Fury and his team sent the contract with the full knowledge that Joshua usually needs 12 weeks training camp + additional conditioning time before each fight?
Jeez, that's a bit off!

I think Fury has seen what Jake Paul is doing etc and has now moved to that model: use his personality/fan base to promote a fight and take on guaranteed victories.

I think also he is filming a documentary so definitely doesn't want to lose whilst filming that.

I anticipate it being Charr or someone similar next March. Definitely won't be Uysk/Joshua/Ruiz or Joyce.
I suspect/ I think X2/ I anticipate followed by a "Definitely".
Mystic Meg will be eating humble pie in 2023.
Ooh, someone with inside knowledge. Nudge, nudge, wink, 😉

Actions speak louder than words, and by the 4 December Fury will have boxed Whyte and Chisora in a 14 month period. That doesn't inspire confidence in Fury's confidence to take on the best.

Uysk was never going to be available in December so it is a bit disengenerous to say that he turned the Fury fight down.

I hope they do fight next year but it would come as a big surprise.
He will have boxed 3 times in under 14 months if you want to tell the truth. Very active in the modern era.

I'm not asking about that Doofus. I'm asking if it's correct, based on your own words, that they presented him with a contract for a fight which didn't give him the same amount of time he usually needs to properly prepare? If so, that's a bit naughty.

You appear to keep on attempting to avoid answering the simple question.
You stated Joshua usually needs 12 weeks+ of training and conditioning to prepare.
You stated the contract was for the 3rd December, only giving Joshua 11 weeks to prepare.

Fury is the massive favourite in this fight, apparently Joshua doesn't stand a chance. It's Joshua's biggest fight ever so obviously would need the correct amount of time to prepare. Yet here you are accusing Fury of not even giving Joshua enough time to prepare. You're the one delivering the damning verdict on Fury, not me.

"damning verdict on Fury".
You're coming across a tad hysterical. Joshua was offered different fight dates and verbally agreed to fight on 3 December. That gave him much more notice than Andy Ruiz got before he battered Joshua.
Joshua could have said the date was unacceptable but was happy to feed the illusion that he was going to fight again this year.

Hysterical? I'm merely using your own words. Words where you are accusing the #1 heavyweight, lineal champion and ATG of not allowing an inferior opponent the correct amount of time to train for a proposed fight. You owe Tyson Fury an apology.
Next you'll be accusing him of not giving enough time with the contract signing deadlines.

Ruiz jr was a substitute opponent against Joshua Doofus, he replaced Jarrell Miller. Not sure why you're trying to divert once again from what you've stated regarding the Fury v Joshua timelines. :maybe:
