Lineal champion - agreed
ATG - :stop:

Beating Wilder twice makes him an ATG ?
I'd say Wlad was his best win. Has anyone else won the Heavyweight title on away soil twice?
Yeah, Lennox Lewis did it against Holyfield and Rahman.
By that time he was fulltime fighter on US soil..

But you're not wrong. :TU:

Ok, good company to be in then. Some even consider Lennox an ATG.

Which Lewis lost. I was on about the rematch which Lewis won in the US.
I know he's devoted to the Fury cause, but rewriting boxing history just to suit Fury's credentials? :stop:

Beating Wlad was a great win and one that has been unfairly downplayed by Fury naysayers recently.

For me though, to be classed as an ATG he needs to dominate his division and beat all the other top guys.

Yeh, when Lewis fought Tyson, Tyson was already finished. way past his peak best.. Lewis changed his style which allowed him to prolong his career..

That fight was all about money really and just for Lewis to have Tyson on his resume with a green W next to it.

You can nit-pick any resume tbh.. Give Fury his due, he still did what many couldn't do before him and his wins over Wilder, lets not deny, they are good as well.

Right now, all he needs to do IMO is beat AJ and Usyk, or at least fight them

That then puts him up there.. Joyce is a bonus. He doesn't NEED to fight him.

Yea I’m sure Mickey knows all that, but can see why someone would temporarily make a slip-up and mention SA when talking about Lewis - Rahman.

Yes, my mistake, he got sparked out in SA. He won the rematch in his adopted home country.

Maybe they thought Joshua would knock Fury down a few times and the flight went the distance.

So, Fury is scheduled to fight in Dec, while Joshua apparently plans to come back next year. Does it tell enough why this fight is off for now?

That Joshua doesn't have a confirmed opponent with enough time for both of them to complete a full training camp before the end of the year? :maybe:
Fury probably had the Chisora deal signed up a long time ago? :maybe:

You're a strange one Doofus. You've already confirmed that there wasn't enough time for a full training camp before Dec 3rd. Are you now about to contradict yourself and say there was enough time?

Also, DrD was referring to a statement made yesterday, which leaves just 9 weeks until the end of the year. So, again, way below the 12 weeks+ that you yourself stated was required. :maybe:

For me, it doesn't really matter who Fury boxes next. The fact that he has failed a drug test for PEDS calls into question (in my mind) the legitimatecy of his wins.

Hopefully, he is entirely innocent and his amazing fitness levels, which seem to be the difference between him and the rest of the pack, is just down to good training and remarkable genetics.

Weak trolling.
I've explained why I was confident that Joshua would duck the fight. None of the Joshua nuthuggers have explained why he agreed to fight and state he would sign the contract.

Why is it trolling when it's your own words i'm using? That would make you the troll.

"For many years he has has lengthy overseas "conditioning" training before a 12 week camp.
Only fantasists believe that he was boxing on 3 December." Your own words.

As Fury and co sent the contract with only 11 weeks to go, going by your own words, that makes Fury a fantasist.

They ran out of time to sign the contract due to Fury's bizarre personal deadlines, or did you forget that part of it? Fury pulled the plug. I've never, ever witnessed a boxer set personal deadlines for a contract to be signed. Have you? Why did Fury put further demands and roadblocks in the way if it's what he really wanted? Doesn't make sense.

Seems you just ignore anything that doesn't suit your 'I hate AJ! The Gypsy King is amazingly wonderful!' agenda. Nothing anyone can do about that.

You also appear to not have any other examples of boxers setting bizarre personal deadlines

Chisora: Joshua Couldn't Fight Fury Due To Complications With Sponsors, Promoters

"AJ is living in Tyson's head rent-free," Chisora said to Sky Sports. "Tyson wakes up every day thinking about AJ and cannot do an interview without mentioning AJ. AJ is off living his life, doing his own thing. I don't know why Tyson keeps talking about AJ."

"AJ could not take the fight because there were so many complications with sponsors and promoters," Chisora explained.

"The fighters always want to fight, just fight, but the complications come from the business people around them who get in the way.

"The managers and promoters get in the way, they make it difficult. Even this fight and contract was a headache stressing me out. People always think making a big fight is easy but it's always such a headache."

^^^

Is there anyone that is not on AJ's d!ck.
