For what reason? I’d be more inclined to slate Matchroom if Benn was banned but he isn’t so should be allowed to fight.

that is genuinely nonsense isn't it. Benn's main legacy in boxing will be his comedy poultry defence to PED abuse, and the surprising news he is fluent in Spanish. Eubank's most memorable moment for me was when he claimed to be running with the imaginary gangs of Brighton whilst attending a fee-paying school. The latter point proving once again you cannot buy intelligence, only arrogance.

Agreed. Having successfully resisted the allure of the Cleverly-Bellew II PPV, avoiding Conor Benn fights will be no problem.

Boxing’s mental, it’s the only industry where your earning power increases in direct correlation to how disliked you are.
Conor’s boxing skills are as you say nowhere near PPV level but his ability to get people to dislike him is top notch.
