Surprised Drunk Pete Hegseth didn’t suppress the story given that it originally came from The Navy Times and The Military Times. I wonder if, once Trumpy gets out of this Iran mess, he’ll suggest to Hegseth that he go back to Fox News. Somebody is going to take a fall, and it won’t be Trumpy
Trump's always thought the military were a bucn of mugs, he couldn't care less i guess. Sounds horrendous.

And before LimpWrist et all laugh at the source as you said it was first reported in Military magazines and the Israeli media is covering it too.

Heavily covered in the US media too.
Trumpy has long ridiculed members of the military, but Hegseth, Kennedy and FBI Kash seem more like college frat boys playing roles in a B-movie about faux patriotism in the Reagan years. I suspect Pete’s favorite war movie is the original Red Dawn, which was possibly the funniest/most cliche-filled war movie of all time

I see this being more of a draw, like Vietnam
Islam is playing the long game though. Doesn't matter if they win now, 10 years from now or 200 years from now. They're in it for the long haul.
And I don't think it matters to them which country ultimately deals the death blow. They're all doing their part in chipping away at the giant.
So you feel it is the objective of Islam to destroy western society?
To infiltrate it until there is little difference between it and the Middle East yes.
I don't see a whole lot of Islamic people embrace the Western World and take on a new lifestyle. Though I know there are some. Mainly their children who grew up here.

And now we have the new Axis of Evil, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey. And some people are worried about Iran.

It’s the strategy for China and Russia as well. Now the Houthis have blasted innocent Saudi tankers. The whole things a terrible tragic shit show.
Oh those poor innocent Saudis. Excuse me if I don't weep for them.
They are just doing their jobs, is what I mean. I.e. not warships. We all use products from Saudi oil. I don’t particularly like the Saudi regime but I don’t want their civilians to die either. I’d rather these crazy wars ended with no more bloodshed and the world economy recovered.
As a boxing fan, do you watch the fights promoted by Turki, or boycott them?
I stopped watching boxing after the fiasco of the second Kovalev-Ward fight. I couldn’t take the obvious corruption anymore.

Fair enough mate. I do understand your point on Saudi and also boxing corruption. I just can’t see the good coming out of any of these wars.
I'm with you. I am not in any way in favour of this war that Trump started.
If Trump had started this war with the honest intention to replace the brutal theocratic leadership in Iran I'd be in total favour, but he didn't. He started this war to appease Netanyahu and not for some noble humanitarian reason.

I'm sure Bibi encouraged it but I think it was more self-aggrandizement than anything. After taking out Maduro he started thinking of the US military as an omnipotent force that could accomplish any task. And of course because he's surrounded by lackeys and morons nobody told him this was a terrible idea, and now the whole world is paying the cost.

Could be true, could be a gross exaggeration.
Numerous family members of those on board are saying its true. These boats are supposed to dock once a month it has been at sea close to 9 months.
They're meant to dock once every 4-6 weeks depending on their mission requirements, a carrier engaged in conflict is a different matter. I believe a nuclear submarines standard deployment without docking is 8-12 weeks and 99% of that is underwater, carrier crews have it easy in that regard.

Iranians had been saying there was social media messages of support going around months before the war and a lot of the oppressed were actually looking forward to liberation…now with what he’s actually done they have rallied round the flag.
This stuff with the aircraft carrier being fucked up now and the seamen trying to kill themselves is crazy. He’s been beaten so bad the US will get taken to school if China decides it’s time. The US as with many powerful countries have made many stupid and evil decisions over the years but this is right up there.
I hate Trump and his rotten little team of merry men. Netanyahu can’t last much longer either surely.
I'm not convinced that China's military isn't a paper tiger, it looks impressive on paper but Japan and South Korea seem more sophisticated in that region.

If anything it's our military that looks like a paper tiger right now. We've proven that spending $900B doesn't make your military into an omnipotent force, and we are likely getting vastly worse value for our dollar than China is. We've been shooting down $10K drones with $1M missiles and spending hundreds of millions on a factory that produces nothing:

US military procurement is full of crazy boondoggle projects like this.

Trump threatens Oman now, "If Oman gets in the way, we'll bomb the shit out of them." Oman is negotiating with Iran on the Hormuz passage and has been unwilling to accept an Iranian toll. Basically what he is saying is that if Oman gets in the way of Iran charging a toll, he'll bomb them.
Oman is also one of the most trusted allies of the US in the region, but whatever.
In other news, he has said he will reduce military exercises with South Korea. Trump says this is "“Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un". This also appears to be revenge for South Korea's unwillingness to "join us in the Denuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran".
Hates his allies, loves the worst dictators on the planet. He'll destroy every good relation the US ever had. What a worthless pos he is.

Cancelled military exercises in South Korea too, becuae his good friend in North Korea asked him too, the US is flat out done and no pudendum seems to have the balls to do anything about it.

The thing is, you can't even say he lied us into the war because he didn't even bother to justify it at all. Bush spent weeks going around trying to convince congress and the public there were reasons to invade Iraq. Trump just launched this campaign unilaterally and then later came up with a handful of constantly shifting and sometimes contradictory rationales.
