3-2 Groves, DeGale improved that round maybe Groves getting a bit slower now has put a lot of movement into the early rounds.

Very hard round to score, the fifth. Degale is throwing more and committing more. Groves's tactics weren't working as well there, and he looked ragged.

I get the impression that Groves has expended a great deal of energy: he looked edgy in the first couple, and even beyond that, his tactics use a lot of leg energy.

Anyway.

Degale switched things around by letting Groves come to him. Groves wasn't suckered in and in general waited to counter; however, in the second half of the round, Degale caught Groves clean with a left right, and later with a straight left. Both looked like good shots, but both just bounced off Groves
