Thought it was a decent performance to be honest, Jones has a great chin and great survival ability but I did not want to see him hit in the head
anymore to be honest, he had not won a round was given a count twice so there are two 10-8 rounds in there, he had not hurt Brook, why let him take more

No problems with the stoppage for me

Bring on Maidana, that will make for a cracking fight as the Latin comes to fight.

He does more than come to fight he comes to win and he won't come over here and give weight away etc etc; Kell looked very strong but looked to fade again after 4 rounds and Jones didn't do a lot; the top of the tree are harder.

Out of his depth ref, Alexander is used to doing British Masters fights in front of 200 people.
As out of his depth as a five bob note.

Got to be honest gonna stick with my original assessment the stoppage was fine, Alexander was in his biggest fight to date and it would have been
so easy to leave it and let Jones take 10 rounds of that, he made the call, I think it was right but many won't but at least he had
the guts to make a decision, he was not biased he was on Brook's case more than Jones re any infringements.

Decent enough call, I for one did not want to see Jones take anymore, how anybody thought that was competitive was beyond me

Too much hate for Brook just from no where really, dont have to like the guy but christ what did he do wrong.

Still one of the best 147 fighters around, please dont get me started on Khan, anyone who thinks Khan takes those shots is crazy he destroys Khan and after
Maidana I think they may well be able to make it to be honest.

The difference is Khan has fought top opposition.

Khan already 'did' Maidana and is having a high level career while still a year younger than Khan; Jones is not a big puncher and Khan is far faster and hits harder; Brook would not do whatever he wanted v Khan no way.

Never said he has not fought top opposition my argument is does anyone think he can take what Jones took tonight, Khan will land on Brook I have no doubt but Brook
is very accurate and at some stage in the first four rounds he will land clean on Khan, its over then, he cannot take those we all know that.

Of course he wont do what he want I totally agree but he will land on Khan and that is all he has to do, he hits harder by a long way than Garcia, he hits harder than Prescott, he will land clean and take Amir out and I am not Brook nuthugger its just that it gets boring to hear all the hate all the time.

Totally agree Khan is quality and he gets so much undeserved stick, he has a chin problem but by god the boy has heart and I think his skillset is fantastic, if Amir had Carson Jones chin then he would be virtually unbeatable because the speed and variation is fantastic.

Think the boys deserve each other really and it would be a great payday and would sell out anywhere in the uk very very quickly

:TU: I understand your point but do not think that Brook 'deserves' a go at Khan yet; he is dangerous and may win because he is a strong puncher and Khan is suspect around the chops; Amir has boxed the top men though -the very best man that Brook has faced is Jones who is a tough competitor but a full league below. There are lots in the lower division can wreck a top man but they have to earn the right in front of the world to get a shot; Brook has to fight someone who will hit him back, hard, at the right weight etc etc. Carson is a very hard man and is not the measure of the welter division; what would Devon have done to Jones, or one of the other champions or top contenders? I'm not trying to belittle Brook and things have t be in perspective.
