Boxing in Hull for the first time since???
Fair enough, I'm glad they have a local hero and good luck to him. but that is an undercard fight all day long. Brook Jones was good enough (on paper) to headline.
Yeah; I agree with you

Never understood fights like that.
Same when the likes of DeGale and Gavin turned pro. They're World or Olympic champion and fighting people well out of their depth. Put them in with someone who can take them a few rounds at least

If Ed is going to have Campbell out once a month for the next year, you can imagine what kind of opponents he will be facing. They should be looking at area titles after 8 fights or so...

Does anyone get the feeling when they're listening to the sky guys that they're listening to a nazi broadcast with the propaganda that they try feeding to you?!

It doesn't seem as bad as that but I'll keep an eye on it.

I can see the hype being pretty bad. Lets not forget DeGale's pro debut was very unimpressive and I can remember he got slated here over it.

Yeah but that was more because Degale wasnt very likeable or atleast that was the perception. He had to look truely amazing for anyone to really say well done because of that I think.

Was away so missed the show. Looking at all the comments it sounds like a terrible night for British boxing.

Ha ha!

They obviously know his surname but I think they're trying to be different on the mic and just end up failing, very badly. Funny though!
