I think he was just trying to answer the interviewer's enquiry about what else they were trying to work on. Fully expect them to chase Alexander as I think it's an easier fight than Broner and obviously won't come with the options or any of those tougher things to negotiate. Obviously Khan won't have a World title so I think that fight is the least likely.

Khan might be a meaningless fight but Brook will give Khan loads of problems.

Talent wise I think Brook is right up there with the best in the division but he needs to prove that by going in with the top guys in the division.

Based on the Mallinagi fight and Books performance tonight I think Brook beats Broner. Broner doesn't look so great at Welter. We'll see. Maybe he had an off night.

Yeah but when Kell has been preaching about wanting to become a world champion and getting into a mandatory position it does show it to be a bit of a joke. Why couldnt Kell fight Khan after winning a world title if he really fancies his chances against Alexander? Surely it would be a bigger fight then anyway.

I think Broner fought a poor fight against Malignaggi. His fight against Maidana will be more telling.

Brook wouldn't beat Broner IMO. Broner's power would be too much. Also the Problem is a World Champ at Welter, something that took him 1 fight and Brook still hasn't fought for this after 31 fights!

Khan-Brook is a good domestic fight that people will want to watch. It's like Haye-Fury or Haye-Chisora was, not for a title or anything but a good fight that a lot of people will want to see. It's a fight I wouldn't mind.

That's the big point I think. Fighting Khan would make Brook a lot of money. But fighting Khan after winning a World title would I) Get Brook even more money because he has more leverage. II) Give him another big fight at top 15 level (obviously more than likely top 8) under his belt as experience.
