Burns vs Crawford RBR
Re: Burns vs Crawford RBR
How many times will Johnny Nelson mention that this guy went nine with Chisora? Twice beforehand. I'm going for at least twice in the aftermath.

A weeble wobble would have been more entertaining and better work. I don't think that Joshua looks stiff at all relative to the rest of the heavyweight division.

About One Hundred and Thirty Seconds as it turns out. Still pretty quickly though.keithmoonhangover wrote:COME ON ANTHONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Burns vs Crawford RBR
Eddie will be foaming at the mouth in the interview I bet, going on about how Chisora went 8 rounds.
Re: Burns vs Crawford RBR
As they sing Ricky Burns' name, there's only one man they're here for tonight.steve689 wrote:Jim Watt: "That's what the fans have come here to see"

And all the casuals watching will have no idea that Chisora was fat and couldn't be arsed the entire fight.columbo wrote:Eddie will be foaming at the mouth in the interview I bet, going on about how Chisora went 8 rounds.

For me he was looking a bit better in that department tonight.Tanzio wrote:A weeble wobble would have been more entertaining and better work. I don't think that Joshua looks stiff at all relative to the rest of the heavyweight division.

They're all about to have the wind taken out of their sails then.expe wrote:As they sing Ricky Burns' name, there's only one man they're here for tonight.steve689 wrote:Jim Watt: "That's what the fans have come here to see"

9 rounds even.
Re: Burns vs Crawford RBR
One thing I will say about Joshua is that he seems like a very nice guy.

Not going to happen.gilgamesh wrote:They're all about to have the wind taken out of their sails then.expe wrote:As they sing Ricky Burns' name, there's only one man they're here for tonight.steve689 wrote:Jim Watt: "That's what the fans have come here to see"

Just wish he'd open up a bit more, you can feel the media training coming through.columbo wrote:One thing I will say about Joshua is that he seems like a very nice guy.

"Easy, Easy"
More like
"Pointless, pointless"
When a fat bastard like Irineu Beato Costa Junior stops a guy inside a round Joshua simply shouldn't be bothering with the guy.

We'll see. I don't expect Burns will win more than 2 or 3 rounds.expe wrote:Not going to happen.gilgamesh wrote:

Eddie in a whisper "Make sure you say how great the crowd are and how you want Ricky Burns to win".

Even if he doesn't the bucky will keep them all going.gilgamesh wrote:We'll see. I don't expect Burns will win more than 2 or 3 rounds.expe wrote:Not going to happen.gilgamesh wrote:

"He just did 9 rounds with Chisora"
...yeah "just"...11 months ago and since then he was stopped by Irineu Beato Costa Junior in a round and the 44 year old former Cruiserweight Marcelo Fabian Dominguez stopped him in 7...

You think they'd rob Crawford even if he won it clearly?expe wrote:Even if he doesn't the bucky will keep them all going.gilgamesh wrote:

Yeah thought that too.Aden wrote:Eddie in a whisper "Make sure you say how great the crowd are and how you want Ricky Burns to win".
Here, I heard somewhere that the Argie went nine rounds with Chisora. Anyone confirm this rumour....

Did he actually say that or are you purely taking the piss there?Aden wrote:Eddie in a whisper "Make sure you say how great the crowd are and how you want Ricky Burns to win".
