I echo what people have already said in this thread. Price is finished. His performance last night wasn't just disappointing, for me it was awful. He looked to have no confidence at all and didn't control the fight for a second. Price should've controlled the distance with a stiff jab. There was nothing stiff about his jab and Teper therefore had no respect for it. Once he landed properly it was always likely to be lights out. No movement, no real boxing skills - very, very poor.

I can't see where Price has left to go. I've seen one or two people talking about him fighting Joshua - can't happen, won't happen. Joshua is moving forward rapidly and has nothing to gain by knocking Price over.

I'm not sure it's really safe for Price to carry on, he's just cannon fodder now.

I agree, the risk reward ratio for fighting Price now is terrible!

I watched this after reading the comments. Mentally, I thought he looked fine. He tried to get his shots and was willing to engage. However, he didn't seem to even try to maintain the distance and throw the jab properly. He just lurked around in the pocket of his opponent. Bizarre.

I think he loses his bottle in the moments before the fight. What he needed 2 years ago was for someone like Adam Booth (I thought he was involved for a little while?) or Peter Fury to put him through the rigours of a boxing clinic. He just went back to his old trainer and seems to have kept the same bad habits. Brawlers must love fighting him

It placed the fight right in Teppers hands. And let's face it Teppers no world beater it won't take someone any better than Price to beat him I feel.

But fair play to him he capitalised on Prices fragility and may end making a few quid now.

I'd love to hear how he gets on in sparring. He is just so ineffective and unable to keep an opponent at bay that he must surely take heavy punishment in sparring? They must have known this was going to happen?

i dunno mate, ryan rhodes got blasted in two by jason matthews and looked absolutely awful and he went on to have a fine career. i dont think he looked gun shy, he was eating shots for fun...if anything he looked keen to take shots to prove to himself that he could. that tactic could have worked if he had used his jab properly and maintained the right distance.

He looked shocked that someone was throwing punches at him, I'm not sure what hhe expected in a boxing !match. If his game is power shots then he should throw power shots and not back up before a punch is thrown. He acquiesced immediately and looked like a novice inside, clutching and turning his head.

Rhodes had all sorts going on behind the scenes, Price was well looked after. The writing was on the wall years ago, just only a few of us saw it. Glen McCrory said it on telly when Price was still unbeaten.

price has just been done over, but there is a way back. he can bang and he's a big lump and he's in a division where losses are forgiven much more easily than in others.

look at deontay wilder, price would have a chance in that fight....

If you cant deal with a limited plodder like Tepper then you wont live with Wilder who is athletic and can bang. Price was never great to start with in my opinion but what he had he has lost and has regressed badly through a lack of confidence. Price commentated on a Wlad fight and said he hoped he'd be ready in a couple of years. Glen said it was odd and should be screaming for him. He said it was worrying.

When I saw what shape Tepper was in, I put a small bet on Price 1-3. I hovered around the any winner 1-3 but didn't take it.

David looked awful after a round, shell shocked . He pawed with his jab and panicked every time Tepper vaguely landed....

And what was Price trying to do, imitating the mayweather shoulder roll???

Looking at te elation on Tepper's face and all his team after he won, it seemed like they were all surprised as well.

Poor David is shell shocked and has lost all his confidence.
