Great win for Frampton. I personally had it a draw, but I don't mind it going his way. He fought a great fight, and won more rounds decisively.

It's those rare epic fights that make me love boxing, so many times these big big fights just don't get going and leave you disappointed.... THEN you get fights like this where it catches fire and both fighter don't want to give ground in the exchanges, top top quality fighting from both guys.

Absolutely awesome fight and i would like to see a rematch with a proper atmosphere. I can only imagine how bouncing a fight like that would be in Northern Ireland.

I've said this for ages, he is one hell of a boxer.

I thought he definitely won the fight but it was too wide on the scorecards, one round, maybe two but six? No way.

I had him by one but I just saw on twitter that dan Rafael had him miles ahead going into the 11th although to be fair the commentator on allegedly was a bit negative against Frampton he wrote him off every time Santa Cruz landed half a shot. I wonder if that swayed me a bit on the close rounds.

That's par for the course. He was getting on my nerves a bit.

Rafael scored it 115-113. He had it 106-103 going into 12th.

I had it 6-5 Frampton and 1 even but there was a few rounds that were difficult to score. LSC looked the fresher of the two at the end. I thought Carl could've made the fight easier with more movement because LSC struggled with his movement in the first half of the fight but he was obviously tired. Can't complain because it made for a great fight. Very close and I'd love to see a rematch. Over the moon Frampton got the nod although the scoring was way off the mark from two of the judges.

I'd like to see Frampton Selby next and possibly LSC vs Valdez. LSC v Valdez would be a proper war.

Just watched it. Very good fight and excellent performance from Frampton, particularly in the first half of the fight.

That said, I really thought it could have gone either way so two of the scores were way off for me. Barry Jones, who I felt gave most of the close rounds to Frampton, still had it a draw.

I had it a draw, but lots of extremely close rounds. Enjoyable fight, glad Frampton won. Never liked LSC, but have started to warm to him over the last 12 months or so since he's stepped up his opposition. A rematch would be just fine.

I had Santa Cruz by 4 rounds although a lot were very close so it depends on what you prefer- these days judges tend to give the person who lands the cleaner punches the rounds and don't reward volume. Joe Calzaghe was lucky he wasn't around these days...

Agree with who ever said it was like Cotto vs Margarito- that's exactly what I was thinking when I was watching it. I

I had it 2 rounds to Frampton. I thought a lot of what Santa Cruz did was quite lightweight, hitting gloves and pushing a lot of punches. He improved through the fight but I thought Frampton just did enough with cleaner scoring punches in enough rounds to take it 7-5 (6-5-1 if I called a tight, slight Frampton round a draw).

I thought the commentary on allegedly was strange as I didn't fully agree with them towards the end, they seemed to only be looking for Santa Cruz's work in the last few rounds when I saw Frampton still holding his own.

I can actually see how one judge got it 116-112 as I could easily have gone there with more generous scoring, but I held myself back to try and take the bias out of my judging and still wound up with Frampton.

The support Frampton got from the crowd was obviously helpful, but I genuinely think he was the better, stronger and cleaner landing boxer last night.
