Just show the medical certificate or whatever to confirm the injury. Buying some tickets with no intention of using them wouldn't be hard.

Though if the injury is fake it won't have been planned for long anyway, there'd be no reasno to go through all this planning a pull out, either the training isn't going as well as they hoped and they decided to pull out, or it'll be a failed drug test

Probably just had a good second look , and don't fancy there chances ,, and its easy to say it after the fact , but i will say i'm one of the many who never actually believed this fight would happen

Even if they didn't fancy their chances, they still had a $1.2m payday coming their way.

It seemed like a very nice deal for a 22-year-old without any particularly notable wins.

As per FW tysons ukad hearing is May 8th

Tyson and Hughie were charged simultaneously so it's right to assume they have a hearing together. Must be a final hearing.

But Tyson has two other violations as well.

The case file should provide the truth when uploaded.

I just cant understand why UKAD allow both Fury's to schedule fights without confirming WTFs going on, its farcical theres a lot of money been lost from promoters etc not to mention the arse ache they all have trying to find replacements and reschedule, considering Tyson failed his test long before he even fought Wlad shows how laughable UKAD are, if Fury was dirty and he hurt Klitschko surely they would be accountable, fighters shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a ring if there under investigation and UKAD have a responsibility to be swift, bunch of amateurs

Boxing commentator Mike Angove says Romanian Razvan Cojanu would be a good match to take on Joesph Parker in his World Heavyweight title defence.

"It would make sense he is number 14 in the WBO he's 6ft 7 so he's a similar height to Fury, I understand he has been in camp with Parker, which is an interesting situation but what it does mean is that he will be fit and ready to fight.

He will probably create difficulties knowing Parker, so some of Parker's trademark moves he may not pull off as easily," Angove said.

He said if media speculation about Razvan (16-2, 9 KOs) is correct then it will make for a good fight.

"Looking at who Cojanu has fought compared to who Parker has fought i'd suggest Parker will be pretty well equipped to tackle him.

"Cojanu hits harder than Fury he has had 300 amateur fights and he has a nasty left hook to the head and body and coming from the height at which he throws it will create some difficulties for Parker." Angove said Parker would have to go a few rounds against a taller fighter.

Ukad temporarily cleared them to fight October 29th the rescheduled date for the Wlad rematch. The initial hearing was due to take place early November a few days after that date.

Did it happen who knows ??? The mirror said there was a three day hearing in Feb and FW said there is one May 8th.

UKAds policy is not to comment until the legal process is complete inc appeals which is what I think is happening. There is no other reason for it to take this long. When all appeals are done the case file will be put on their site.

Only when that's done will we know if there are any bans.

Haye is listed on there but showing as suspended? It probably just doesn't get updated/maintained very regularly.

Gareth A Davies was on boxing matters last night and talked about Tysons situation, seems pretty clear he'll get a ban for kicking the testers out but they are hoping it will be running now due to his medical issues.

For me the major issue isn't necessarily the Fury's failing drug tests, more the hapless approach that has followed. By all accounts both fighters have fought post-failure but pre-resolution. I'm not sure how on earth that could be allowed to happen.

If Tyson is subsequently found to have taken performance enhancing drugs prior to the Klitscho fight then the present response would likely be to remove him from the history books, declare the fight a no contest and Wlad goes back to three losses. But imagine the fallout if Wlad was badly hurt?

The million dollar question is why did a Positive drug test ( if it is deemed to be one) take 16 months to get charged.

UKAD charged them in June 2016 for positive samples from Feb 2015. In between which Tyson beat Wlad.

If he had been charged straight away then the Wladimir fight would not have happened.

Cojanu is AWFUL....probably the worst of the ranked fighters by a good margin.
He managed only a SD against this 5'10" , 12-22 journeyman last year:



Before that he was KTFO by Dominic Dennis, and needed a 'draw breaker' round to beat some clubfighter in Boxino. Im not just record browsing either; watch him fight and youll quickly see how bad he is.

Whatever people reckon of Hughie Fury, what he is and what he ain't, Cojanu is a far worse opponent

Parker isn't the one continually pulling out of fights and fvcking everyone around. His credibility is totally unaffected by this, regardless of whatever opponent they manage to get at 2 weeks notice.
