Hey, I'm not recommending it!
That was me reaching for a scenario that might just work. I don't see how Joshua loses.

Hearn just tweeted that AJ currently weighing 244 pounds, down ten from Takam
He did but I think he got his maths wrong.
The scales read 112.9 (presumably) kg which is actually 17st11 not 17st7 - so about 249lbs.
Unless my maths is wrong obviously, which I definitely wouldn't rule out...

AJ's team are onto Takem for sparring.
I suppose he is a fairly decent choice to replicate Parker.
Parker does have better hand speed than Takem, I'm sure they are taking that into consideration.
Does anyone know who is sparring with Parker?

I think Lucas Browne has been but I am f*cked at the moment so could be wrong.
I reckon Parker wins 4 of the first 6 rounds but Joshua takes over after halfway.

you have 0 basis for thinking joe is gonna be up 4-2. seems like something random you just like the sound of
parkers not close to that level, could easily have losses to andy ruiz and hughie

I think AJ might sit back for the first few to figure Parker out. There is no reason why a busy Parker can't win the first 3-4 before his ticket gets punched.

ajs not a slow starter, i dont see why he would be now against a guy who cant hurt anyone even at fringe world level
aj will have little problem finding the defensively sloppy, much shorter reach joe

Tony Yoka has stated on You Tube that he is a sparring partner for Parker.
I haven't heard of any others.
Team Parker plays their cards close to their chest usually re sparring.

I know there is a tall HW from Eastern Europe in his gym. I can't remember his name, but his face looks like it melted I know he has been in with Parker.

Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker is planning to spar with an Olympic champion taller than Anthony Joshua ahead of their unification world title fight.
Parker is training in Las Vegas ahead of the upcoming bout at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on March 31 and the UK's Sky Sports report that his camp will be drafting in French super heavyweight Tony Yoka as a sparring partner.
Yoka, 25, won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the super heavyweight division after beating British boxer Joe Joyce in the final.
Yoka beat Parker for the Gold at the youth Olympics.

85% chance Parker by KO inside 3 rounds.
15% Chance Parker loses by DQ hitting Joshua while he is down .

He might have had a late growth spurt. As an amateur he is 1.97, Wikipedia have him at 2.01 and boxrec at 2M.
Such a promising amateur career only to get busted only 3 fights in as a pro..

Based on this
I love the commentary on that.
"He didn't really hit him properly" (next replay shows it was a full-blown whack)
"Maybe the ref didn't see his knee was down" (his head was below Parker's waist)
"It landed more on the lats really..."
A more biased opinion would be hard to find

Parker arrived at Gatwick today with Malik Scott in tow.
Some acclimatisation from his desert camp and light sparring with Malik at Hayemaker Gym, the final presser, weigh in, and he's good to go.

Dunno how accurate the time and date stamp is on this website, it says you posted that today, but just to say Parker was here on Saturday as he was at York Hall watching Joe Joyce. So I presume at the very latest he arrived in London Saturday morning possibly earlier. Seems about right, although he will obviously have to factor in acclimatising between London and Cardiff so he's obviously doing it in stages....
