Take up The Creeper with gil, the creator.
I have no idea what you’re on about, hence the request

Jermell went from 11 KO's in 26 wins under Ronnie Shields to 4 KO's in 4 fights with Derrick James, including 2 KO of the year contenders. :o

If you can't keep up, don't try.

Jarrett The Creeper Hurd. Gil came up with it. I consider it far superior to Jarrett Swift Hurd. The Creeper is a lot of things but swift is not one of them.

There is nothing I have seen from Thurman to suggest that he is afraid to face Spence. I would pick Spence when they fight, but I don't believe that Thurman is trying to avoid him. Or that he would rather avoid him. His actions thus far speak the opposite.

He understands the threat Spence brings and knows he needs to be at his best when he faces him. All 3 of the fighters during that interview are very confident in themselves. And I thought they all handled themselves well.

Why, The Creeper?

I don't think any of these guys are afraid. Thurman turned down the chance to face Spence for a belt on one of Floyd's undercards before he had ever fought for a title. There are many reasons fights don't get made, but he obviously wasn't looking forward to it. I'm just surprised that you thought Thurman was the confident looking one last night. Wilder was even laughing while Spence stared at him and Keith looked away talking about everything but fighting Spence.

I threw out The Creature and gil improved upon it. Hurd creeps up on people and stops them. Getting into the ring with Hurd is like consciously entering a tar pit. Of course, assumptive criticism of a nickname like that would be kneejerk swift. :OhYes:

Cuz he's steadily creeping up on you. Even when you have a lead on the cards against him, he's still creeping up on you, and putting you in danger.

I just kinda threw it out there, and Tanzio liked it. So when you see Tanzio saying The Creeper a million times in the future, that's my fault...sorry about that

Although if I know Tanzio he was gonna come up with SOME nickname so it might as well be that one

It's all in fun though.

Hurd vs Lara would be very interesting. My view on Lara is that he is chinny and uses his style to slow down fights, control tempo. I think I guy like Hurd would lose every round but push Lara way out his comfort zone. It would either be a late KO for Hurd or a dominant decision for Lara.
