Mostly sensible discussion except I have absolutely no idea how kellerman sees the 12th as a clear GGG round
Watch it again, inside the first 30 seconds of round 12 Golovkin lands some beautiful shots, an uppercut in particular. The rest of the roudn was fairly even. Clear GGG round given the start he made.

I’m a huge GGG fan. Probably my favourite fighter of the last 5 years BUT

I scored the first one 114-114

I scored the second one 115-113 Canelo.

GGG was at his peak probably around 3 years ago and is definetly on the slide.
The feet are slightly slower. Despite his KO percentage I always thought his footwork was his biggest asset. One of the best I’ve ever seen in cutting the ring off.
Canelo has slowly changed his game in recent years. He can box going forwards or backwards. Solid defence/chin and his counter-punching is absolute top drawer.
If he steers clear of quick movers he will be tough to beat.

2 fights-6 scorecards. The only one which is tainted/corrupt/ludicrous is the Adelaide Byrd one.

I had GGG winning by 2 or 3 points.

Good post PH. The only part i disagree with is your scorecard for fight 1. I thought G took it clearly. Over the 24 rounds they have boxed its probably about 12-12. A 3rd fight is going to favour Canelo. The pendulum swung in favour of the younger Canelo now.

I think the 114-114 is as favourable as you can be to Canelo in the first fight.
At a push maybe 115-113.
The 118-110 was ludicrous as GGG won some of his rounds clearly.
He’s had a long long career GGG when you include the amateurs.
