someone tell me how bellew needs to approach this to win
i know the whole 'learned not to bet against him' thing, but how should he actually go about living up to that reputation? what are the tactics?

I think his best bet will be countering. Usyk does come forward at times, he'll try landing his flashy combo's. It will be down to Bellew to make him pay. Usyk will be too fast though. He will be in and out.

Agree, Bellew does punch between shots very well, and with both hands. But Usyk has made a career of unloading in bursts without getting caught.
Question is whether Bellew is quick enough (and lasts long enough) to take that chance when it comes and capitalise on it. I don't think he'll have enough, but it will be interesting to see, especially if he does get home with a big counter.

Sorry Jammy, I can't think of any way he has a chance in this one. Not even the
POWA will save him because he won't get the chance to land it.

I have no doubt Gassiev punches harder, considerably harder, than Bellew. Breidis too probably. Uysk smiled taking their best shots. He smiled and seemed to enjoy it. He’s a fvcking loon
I’d be amazed if Bellew hurt him let alone knocked him spark out which is what Bellew thinks is happening.
Since when has Tony had truly elite level power by the way? I know he can bang, but that came about in the ams and sort of stuck with him.

He'll run and refuse to fight , he'll go into defensive mould , and make it hard for Usyk to do anything , its hard to fight a guy who doe'snt want to fight back , so he'll run , hold , stink the place out , hope to survive , try for the occasional lucky punch , but mainly try to survive , then hope for a good old fashioned British ROBBERY

He needs to be rough, make it a brawl so he can land his shots. The referee may give him some leeway as he’s the home fighter.

how do you think bellew should go about it? i think i remember you saying you thought there will only be a point or two in it

Basically Bellew needs Usyk to suffer a serious injury like Haye did.
Otherwise, his only real chance of victory is landing a huge shot out of the blue, a la Rahman against Lennox. Extremely unlikely, but you never know in boxing.

Usyk has got a rematch clause in here IF he loses. Bellew revealed this was Usyk's ONE AND ONLY demand. The fight was so easy to make.
He questioned if Usyk was so confident in beating Bellew, why he would want a rematch clause in there..
Also got me thinking, IF and it's a
very small IF.. Bellew wins. Usyk is entitled to a rematch. Bellew has said it will be his final bout. But a rematch would see him earn similar if not more than what he would be getting for this bout... Would be have ONE MORE FIGHT?

We haven’t forgotten that fight but Bellew has moved on from then. He’s a better fighter now, one of those late bloomers. Plus it wasn’t at cruiserweight
