A suspension by the California body wouldn't really hurt Pulev. He'll just never fight there again, so what? The fine is the more effective tool.
The fake photo was removed by Facebook. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior, and as per usual, it's getting overheated.Tony1244 wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 10:08 Some unanswered questions. Was there a butt grab? How well did they know each other? Pulev said, "She wanted more." Wouldn't be the first time a guy misread a girl. Was he right?
But please spare us the BS photo shop and lap dancing involving other people. This ain't facebook or Infowars. We're boxing fans, we're smarter than that.
You mean Puiev's behavior? Or the Chuck's of the world who post false sh!t? Or both?oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 10:11The fake photo was removed by Facebook. Yes, women who complain about minor incidents from a long time ago make women look bad, but when we call women whores and gold diggers in an angry tone it doesn't make us guys look very good. Yeah, if a woman is a 10 she will generally go for a rich successful guy and so would you if you were them.![]()
I'd shoot myself before listening to Gloria Allred for a half hour.
That fine is too much IMO but I think you're right. It likely will be something like that. Boxers fight so seldom nowadays the suspension won't mean much unless it is longer than a year. I think most guys have an instinct to grab boobs, kiss a hot girl or punch a random guy in the face, but we can't. Its no socially acceptable.![]()
You kids these days. Such a bunch of soft marshmallows. A man just looks at that and laughs. That woman is not exactly a lady; she's what we used to call fresh, loose, and easy. A kiss is no big deal. She can try to sue him, but good luck bringing a suit to Bulgaria. Remember what the Bulgarians said to foreign invaders? "No Bulgaria for you!"SenorPipino wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 09:22sturm vogel wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 01:22 Not astonished anymore.
Eight pages of "men" who purport to be fight fans angwy because some boxer kissed a reporter he at knows. Such harm! Such anguish the boxer caused!
Pulev is the Georgy Porgy of the week.
So you will excuse Pulev's behavior because he happens to be a boxer?
A boxer can do anything criminal or antisocial and it's perfectly fine by you?
And if we find fault with Pulev's Neanderthal actions then we're not legit boxing fans?
What decade of the 19th century do you live in?
Well if I'd first have to get kissed on the mouth and have my buttocks squeezed by Kubrat Pulev ...

Haha, people who hate Pulev for that kiss must feel like an idiots now

Seriously it depends what I'd have to do for the money ...
Kill an innocent person? No way.
Rob them? No.
Do the dirty on a friend? I'd like to think I wouldn't
Accept payment for being sexually abused by a stranger? Isn't there a word for that?
While I fully appreciate the distinction between consensual and involuntary (if not necessarily the grey area in between) i do think that getting a lawyer and pursuing Pulev for money is not a million miles away from prostitution ... unless of course she plans to donate it to charity.
I'll assume that you don't know this woman, never met her.sturm vogel wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 10:29You kids these days. Such a bunch of soft marshmallows. A man just looks at that and laughs. Not a bad argument. Both sides leave something to be desired. Pulev saying, "She wanted more," whether true or not doesn't sound very stately. And she's totally losing me by going to Gloria Allred. If she wants to continue her career she shouldn't want the fans to hate her.
He should write out a check for 10% of his purse to the charity of her choice. He should apologize and then they should platonically hug. There's the solution.
Everyone makes everything so damn difficult.![]()
What fighter would put himself into that position? um...none! Someone mentioned on youtube to watch this same woman interviewing Galahad. Looking for vid to share.
..certainly not approving or saying Pulev's actions were appropriate or professioinal...still think though this "lady" should be professionally ostracised provided she presses her charges..oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 12:16 After so much information on this over magnified 'event,' I have a couple points I want to share.
1-Pulev was stupid for kissing her, especially on the air.
2-Her lawyering up is opportunistic at best
3-the pic of her at the after-fight party at the table makes me question her being embarrassed or hurt.
4-her career wasn't damaged by this happening, it actually put her on the map, had she only left it alone.
5-the lap dance video and her manner of dress makes her lose credibility.
6-Finally, she has, by her own actions, hurt her career as boxers will shy away from doing any interview or picture taking with her.
Guess she didn't remember the lap dance and actually being at the after party. Her actions, as well as her choice of provocative dress doesn't bode well for her. She's finished in boxing. Pulev has to now explain his actions before a CAC board. Big deal.
