So you're not in the camp that a $5 million offer to Ortiz was made? I'm just asking, as there is no proof of any of this bs.
No, I couldn't imagine that.

No he's quite right. When have Hearn or DAZN ever offered as much as a million dollars to anybody?
They each have a history of being extremely frugal and mean with their offers. Why would anybody even think they'd make a reasonable offer to prevent AJ's US debut / DAZN debut from being a complete flop?
Luckily the man isn't completely twisted up with hatred for Hearn or it's conceivable he might start talking utter shite

Good thing with Haymon is he let’s managed boxers promote their own shows.
The recent Spence-Garcia fight was co-promoted by both fighters. Mikey Garcia Promotions, Man Down Promotions.
As well as other fighters. Recently, Wilder’s Bomzquad Enterprises. Is this how boxers make more?

I quite like hearn. That doesn't mean I have to eat the shit he shovels. You believe every word he says like religion. Ortiz wouldn't change a thing about ajs debut. That's where you go missing time and again, common sense. You're all emotion and personal feelings. Thats a bad look for a grown man

Ordinarily I wouldn't bother but since it's such a big deal here at the moment I reached out to a source. He said Ortiz did turn down 5 million, this is the same guy that spent a million to buy out GBP after 2 HBO showcases, and Joshua turned down hunter after he accepted because of the style. Ruiz or Bryan.

I think that is very much a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Admittedly I do like Hearn. It's clear he's a fan as well as a promoter, but I certainly don't accept what he says without question, nor anybody else for that matter. What I will say for him is that I don't believe any fighter who's been contractually involved with him, has felt the need to take him to court nor has been sued by him (unless anyone knows any different). Contrast that with his UK competition.
He's a promoter that means you take what he says with a pinch of salt but he is approachable, always gives interviews and answers most questions. Even Miller who is not a great fan it has to be said, conceded that he had no complaints at how he was treated by Hearn, who delivered on everything he promised. I'm interested to know who has caught him out in a blatant lie rather than just vague allegations and finger pointing ?
Your comment about how you doubt Miller was even offered a million reeks of sour grapes or stupidity of cosmic proportions. I suspect you know that very well. Whatever my misgivings about your character traits, I never had you down as a stupid man. Biased, blinkered and spiteful certainly, but not stupid.

Amazing if Ortiz really turned down 5 million. What is he waiting for? He's not a 23 year old prospect.

He's about as sharp as a bowling ball. Only guess is al is offering wilder next and it's more winnable fight.

Another novel aimed at someone who you have no interest in? Lol, I love hearn and dazn. They literally save me upwards of $500 a year. It's just that no business can sustain in an unprofitable market. Joshua is profitable, seems silly to cut into that when it doesn't matter. I have no bias, buddy, but unlike yourself I truly couldn't care less what you think of me.

I scrolled up and saw you wrote that you'd be surprised if Ortiz was offered a million. Did you mean only a million? Perhaps one of the posts was sarcastic. If he turned down 5 million I certainly don't feel bad for him. Then he does have a bowling ball brain.

Nothing sarcastic, I genuinely can't see why they would offer that kind of money for a replacement. Overpaying Miller was one thing as they're desperate for us subscriptions. It will never be successful, but they have to try. Whomever the replacement is isn't going to generate what they're looking for and Miller pulling out gives a legit excuse. The second post is I called a buddy still very much involved with the sport. Doesn't make it gospel but I'll take his word over my guessing. I usually don't bother looking into things, I don't care enough, curiosity got the better of me here.

I think I may know.

These pissing wars have spread from off topic. I'm just trying to find out what's going on.
Ortiz turned down big money. Hunter accepted, but then was turned down by AJ. And Ruiz is the most likely at this point.
That's what I'm getting......
