Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
I train in the same gym as him, if he gives me 500k I'll say I spiked him!
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
A few things following up on other posts :
Agree we should fornicate off Sky
Keeping the hair is presumably because he wants to provide a hair sample to show that there is no d-Bol present
People who take steroids always play down the effect they have , but the reality is with a bit of hard work you can add 10kg of lean tissue in a very short time ! Working no harder than the natural guy who may gain less than a KG in the same time frame .
They turned Ben Johnson from a 10.5 runner to a 9.7 runner .
In explosive sports they have a huge impact.

I'm not surprised Sky aren't reporting on it, they have a cycling team
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Hi mate. I often hear the defense of steroid use being "we still have to work our balls off", which actually not true.
I refer people to peer reviewed study into this - https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/N ... 7043350101
In summary
his 10 week study took a group of 43 men of normal body weight between the ages of 19 and 40 who all had some degree of weight training experience. These men were then split up into 4 different groups:
- Group 1 did NOT do any form of exercise, and did NOT receive any form of steroids or drugs. (Natural guys doing no weight training.)
- Group 2 did NOT do any form of exercise, but they received weekly injections of 600 mg of testosterone enanthate. (Drug users doing no weight training.)
- Group 3 DID exercise, but they did NOT receive any form of steroids or drugs. (Natural guys weight training)
- Group 4 DID exercise, and they also received weekly injections of 600 mg of testosterone enanthate. (Drug users doing weight training.)
Meaning, with the exception of the fact that some groups were or were not weight training, and some were or were not using drugs… everything else (diet and training) was equal and even.
The Results
So… guess what happened?
- Group 1 (no exercise, natural) experienced no significant changes. No surprise there
- Group 2 (no exercise, drug use) was able to build about 7 pounds of muscle. That’s not a typo. The group receiving testosterone injections and NOT working out at all gained 7 pounds of muscle.
- Group 3 (exercise, natural) was able to build about 4 pounds of muscle.
- Group 4 (exercise, drug use) was able to build about 13 pounds of muscle.ds of muscle.

I wonder if the B sample has been tested yet !Controversial wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 06:52 Whyte is apparently issuing a statement today, be interesting to see what is said

Just out of interest, has the B sample ever come back with a different result to the A sample?knockout wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 07:12I wonder if the B sample has been tested yet !Controversial wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 06:52 Whyte is apparently issuing a statement today, be interesting to see what is said
If so, it would be the first testing process that was wrong as both samples are the same piss from the same piss (not separate pisses at different times).

Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
It must've been, doesn't take that long. There is footage of Hearn and Whyte at the Rivas press conference whispering to each other and Whyte is shaking his head and can be heard saying to Hearn 'is this a f**ing stitch up'knockout wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 07:12I wonder if the B sample has been tested yet !Controversial wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 06:52 Whyte is apparently issuing a statement today, be interesting to see what is said

This seems to be WBC response
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
I have only heard one occasion where this was the case but god knows how that happened ! Contaminated pot or a bribe somewhere to clear things up ...

Dillian Whyte (Verified account)
@DillianWhyte
I am so disappointed with the rubbish that has been said about me over the last few days.
I have lawyers dealing with it and I have been told that I can't talk about it for good legal reasons.
I was cleared to fight and I won that fight fair and square.
Thanks for the support

There is now a process to go through, he will have his chance to defend himself, let's see how it pans out

What, not even allowed to say "I did not take any performance enhancing substances"?Controversial wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 08:06 Dillian Whyte (Verified account)

Hearn: "I can't say anything wait for Whyte statement in the morning"
Whyte (in the afternoon): "I can't say anything"
If I was accused of robbing a bank, I wouldn't say "I can't say anything for legal reason"... I say I haven't robbed a bank

Perhaps there are aspects he cannot talk about for these supposed legal reasons, but he sure as sh1t can say "I did not use drugs/take PED's/am clean" etc
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
If true he should be banned for life and not just have his belt stripped strip him of his purse too, taking shortcuts its a joke its not like running or swimming where noone gets hurt physically this is boxing,if true dillian whyte will forever lose my respect.

They can't use the meat excuse this time
It'll be injured shoulder or knee or something and that's why he was a bit out of shape so doctor said take some BS injection and they didn't know it contained crack, heroin, steroids, EPO and rocket fuel

I guess it's no different to being arrested and a solicitor advising their client to say 'no comment' to everything regardless what the question is.danconnollyeire wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 08:20 Hearn: "I can't say anything wait for Whyte statement in the morning"

It's annoying because I give these fighters the benefit of the doubt but they're all sh1t
I used to sweep Hearn's BS under the carpet because I thought he was a force for good in general for British boxing but the PPV situations, Adam Smith being a general pudendum (hiring the thickest fvcks in the world) and the constant contradictions I've had it with Matchroom, Sky these days
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Normally the client is guilty in these situations and the lawyer doesn’t want anything said that may conflict with a better loop hole later in the investigation :)Controversial wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 08:34I guess it's no different to being arrested and a solicitor advising their client to say 'no comment' to everything regardless what the question is.danconnollyeire wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 08:20 Hearn: "I can't say anything wait for Whyte statement in the morning"

Miller blamed having every drug in the world except magic mushrooms in his system because of a shoulder injection
They'll be creatine in ibuprofen next
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
This is all looking rather damning at the moment.
Shame, as I like Whyte and he looked as though he was even starting to win over his detractors.
I will reserve judgement until all the details come to light, though that may take a while.
If he is guilty, I wonder what punishment he will receive as it tends to vary massively in each situation.
For example: Canelo got 6 months for steroids and Sun (a Chinese swimmer with a previous PED ban to his name) was able to compete the other day despite being under investigation for allegedly tampering with a sample.
Yet I read in an article today that a British cross country runner got a 4 year ban for cocain. Which is f**king mental if you ask me.
