I hope it gets cancelled again. No way is a domestic plodder vs the disease ravaged washed up 41 yr old ghost of the once elite Povetkin worthy of anyone’s £20. It’s a totally irrelevant fight.

Was it £25 last time or £20?

Don;t matter if it gets delayed. EVENTUALLY, when it happens, it will be PPV.

Just don't pay for it.

This fight may do better than the first, due to the first ending the way it did.

Don't give Eddie ideas it was £19.95 - remember him singing about it on IFLTV.... and thought my gosh Cleveley vs Bellew and the aftermath was a long time ago.

I'm surprised that there isn't more promotion around this 2 weeks out. I'd be amazed if Whyte doesnt do a better job this time around and God knows what shape Povetkin will be in.

I look forward to watching the fight but not a chance I'd pay for this.

My mate usually pays for them, I go over to his.

Sometimes I’ll get few burgers or a pizza in.. sets me back less than £10, but that’s not sometimes.

He always orders all fights. So I’ll pop around to his around half 9ish or earlier..

I used to have IPTV, but they only work well for 3 months and then go off, then you can't get a hold of the guy in charge.

I totally get the argument that if you don’t wanna watch it then don’t pay for it but at what point does a fight that even initially was a spurious choice as a ppv reduce in importance so as to be a non starter as a ppv. I suppose the answer is that it stays ppv as long as Eddie and the sky hype machine can convince casuals that it’s relevant.

Dillian Whyte's 'Rumble On The Rock' rematch against Alexander Povetkin will be commemorated by a £2 coin which was commissioned by Gibraltar's government.

Whyte resumes his rivalry with Povetkin on Saturday March 27, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and currency has been produced to mark their huge heavyweight clash in Gibraltar.



The Gibraltar National Mint has commissioned and produced the coin, which will be released in Gibraltar ahead of Povetkin vs Whyte 2.

"It feels good," Whyte told Sky Sports. "It's something that's sort of surreal.



"Who would think that someone like me would end up on a coin? I didn't think that someone like me would even be boxing at the level I'm boxing, and be a top athlete.

"If you look at my background, this was never planned for me to be a top operator. You hear guys say, 'I knew I was going to be heavyweight champion since I was a kid,' but I never had all of these things, or anything in place. I just took a gamble and it paid off."

Whyte's former maths teacher Mr Awuley, headteacher Gary Phillips, and students from his old school, Lilian Baylis, attended the official presentation.

Tough to tell whats gonna happen here, Whyte was in the driving seat last time, had Povetkin down twice and looked well on his way to getting him out of there before getting slept by an uppercut from hell, loved seeing Whyte ice cold, im no Povetkin fan he's another juicer but i can't stand Whyte, he is a solid boxer though, i think he'll keep his composure here and box to a safetly first decision, he's shown he can outbox and hurt Povetkin but he also knows what Povetkin can do to him, you can never rule a big KO win for either man but i reckon Whyte will box how Joshua did in the Ruiz rematch, just get the W

I fancy Whyte to stop him, prob late on as the Londoner will be careful and take his time.

It should be Whyte all day, but since most of us fancy him to be more cautious, that cuts both ways early doors and gives Pov a bit more of a chance to uncork another.

Gameplan for Whyte is to do as little as possible to keep Pov honest until his legs start going. If I were to bet, I'd go Whyte in 3-6. Very slowly increasing the tempo should be enough, where the stoppage is one of those that comes naturally if you don't push too hard for it.
