I had Canelo winning but there was no doubt that he was getting frustrated. That said, it just shows how good Canelo is as he’s just made a very good fighter quit on his stool.

Saunders was fast running out of legs anyway. Amazing to see Canelo immediately know he was in trouble. He put it on him in the 8th
Saunders was losing the fight btw, he had 2 decent rounds.

Battered in every round for me
i had it 6-2, as i've noticed repeatedly, a lot of boxing fans seem to really value jabbing at air
canelo landed the best work in pretty much every round
Yep, same way I saw it
Same here

Eye looks bad. Wise decision to stop. I didn't give Dubois grief, so won't give Saunders grief either.
Dubois's eye looked far worse and he fought on with the injury for some rounds before he went down.

Good feature the live average

Had that going for a while. Also accessible right as you're scoring in the tabs.

True quitting men more like.

BJS won some rounds on my card though he wasn't winning the fight - Canelo didn't do much in the early rounds but when he did dig Saunders to the body you could see Saunders wince in pain or have that look of shock on his face - it was all a matter of time and he was going to get knocked out in the next round or two - that dog was barking.
So if he quit to save him from the humiliation of getting dropped or not - it doesn't really matter because cowardice/lack of heart wouldn't be his worst human quality anyway.
But apart from that, he did better than I expected.
Canelo is the JCC of the milenium - it was like a peashooter up against a Sherman Tank.

All for Canelo.

He'd have been going out to get sparked, so entirely sensible, but I'll be surprised if he doesn't throw his humble pie across the room like another chicken.

The only round Saunders won clearly was 5. You can argue 1 & 7 either way but the rest were clear Canelo rounds. I gave 1 to Canelo & 7 to Saunders.
There’s no way on earth Saunders was ahead in that fight. Chris Mannix & anyone else saying he was are deluding themselves.
And he quit. Other fighters like Brook & Dubois at least gave it a couple of rounds fighting with a fractured orbital bone before conceding. Saunders took the easy way out & with his track record he deserves every bit of abuse he gets.

absoilutely, this stuff about him outboxing canelo and being up on points is
you had rounds where canelo landed the best 5 punches, and people would give them to bill for pawing at air

There's no doubt he quit. Dubois quit too. It's whether quitting in a sport to save your vision should be condemned or not. To me it shouldn't providing the person acknowledges the other person forced them to quit.
