The ladies get reasonably decent sponsorship from the PE kit manufacturers as women's keep fit is big business.
The promoters can fill up a bill for little money.
Young girls might get inspired to take up the sport.
Us jaded cynics can see through the hype but we can with most of the blokes too. One or two women fights per card is okay by me. The screw up tonight was putting on the rank novice heavyweight from Newcastle. He is far, far worse than Dubois in terms of ability.

She stopped traffic in Cardiff this week! Tbf it was some bloke asking her to sing 'Big Spender' who realised he'd screwed up as soon as he heard the American accent...
