Recent Frank shows have been starting at £55..
It’s a 20,000 seater with a headliner between 2 guys that aren’t local so I’m not surprised with the reduced prices.

I’d imagine they’ll cram the undercard with locals. Get Heaney on there as Stoke isn’t too far away. Plus Heffron and they should try and get Cullen too.

A pleasant surprise they got this over the line, box office clearly went back on his initial bluster about keeping it on SKY. :TU:

It’s a strange one. To have a fight lined up, sign for someone else and then still take the fight.

I’d assume Boxxer will making out of it, perhaps Sky will be getting a % of PPV buys on the Sky platform, I’d be amazed if Parker’s getting less too.

I wonder if this means Frank/BT will be going with £25 for it.

I'm thinking BT have it for the UK, but Sky will have it for their markets outside of the UK, and maybe some streaming platform like Fite will have it for the USA and remaining markets.

BT have got it for the U.K. Traditionally though Sky haven’t helped by not allowing the BT PPVs to be bought via a couple of clicks of the remote. That changed though for the recent Fury/Whyte PPV and Sky gave it more publicity than they would have done before. I assume it’s because they’d be taking a % of any sales through their platform.

You may well be right re: Sky having it in most countries outside of the US.

Joe Joyce isn’t a very good speaker, I like Joe but he made a bit of a prat of himself at the presser. Parker was more eloquent and seemed quite bewildered with some of the crap coming from Joyce.
I also liked it when Frank took exception to some of what young Ben was saying. It’s always fun to see Frank get riled.

Good to see Ben there, he's obviously representing Boxxer and being Parker's promoter.

Adam Smith does more for Sky anyway, especially since Hearn left.

Following boxing, at least legally, is a very expensive game these days…. And for what? Rubbish fights with worse undercards and not getting the fights we want. Canelo GGG is an effin PPV in U.K. nuts. No way I’m paying

And Slow Joe will keep coming, good fight

Don’t see Parker beating JJ myself, but a good fight. Shame it’s another fvcking PPV though, I’ll be listening on the old wireless again.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Parker wins.

Takam and even Christian Hammer who hadn’t had a full camp was landing big shots early. Parker is offensively and defensively better than those guys.

Beating Joyce is not going to be easy for anyone I reckon even AJ, Usyk and Fury come out that fight busted up even in victory.

Sorry to say it but I’ll be paying up to watch this. Hopefully the undercard is good. 5 fights on the undercard will be enough as long as they are decent enough.

I think Frampton v Quigg on some 200k buys is the lowest number of PPV buys of recent years. I can’t see this doing less. I know people are bummed it’s PPV but how many times have people on here said that this is going to bomb so hard that it will ruin the promoters etc. Hughie Fury v Joseph Parker is the only time I’ve ever thought I’ve actually seen that.

Same for me BB. :verysad:
I'm not saying the fight will be dull, probably the opposite, but I just want to make a stand. And I'm betting, like the Ruiz Ortiz nothing fight and card, the undercard will suck.

Umm... While I am refreshed at your optimism, and you may get one or two decent fights, gone are the days of 5 or even 3.

Is there any chance they will get a vacant title on the line?

Heavyweight belts have been taking a while. Sure if usyk says he wants to do his wbo mando next then no point, but if usyk is going to go the other way this is a good vacant type fight.

Be cool if wbo just asked the winner of AJ usyk what they were doing and acted accordingly.
