Yep it’s as one sided as your average women’s “world title” fight

I don't mind Yarde at all , he'd benefit ditching all the hangers oners tho' .
It would be foolish to completely write him off against Beterbiev .

In days of old, the tune up fight would be someone the same size and style. Instead, Yarde gets to fight someone who barely knows how to box. Tunde gets him into great shape, but he is one of the worse cornermen I've seen in my 45 years following the sport.

It’s not exactly a tune up is it.
He said as well, he’s not looking for rounds. He wants a blow out.

“A fight as one-sided as a g*****pe”
As the man Haye once said.

BT have put up a short interview with Yarde. Two things :
1) he refers to the fight with Beterbiev as a Blockbuster. Not so....it's a big deal to Yarde, but a step down for Beterbiev.
2) he says "someone is getting knocked out". Well, yes...but the insuation being it could be either one of them. If anyone is getting knocked out, it's Yarde
Yarde has no more chance in this fight than Paul Butler does with Nayoa Inoue.

I'm going disagree on that Yarde has less miles on the clock than Butler, he's also younger and Bererbiev is a lot older than the Monster.

Comparing Butlers chances to Yarde’s, is up there as one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read on a boxing forum.

I don’t particularly like Butler but his last win against Sultan was better than any win Yarde’s had so far.
I think they’re comparable fights although Yarde has a punchers chance whilst Butler probably doesn’t. Also helps him having the fight in the U.K.
I’d still think Beterbiev is something like a 1/6 favoruite.

Yarde has a puncher's chance in any fight he's in, but Bert is an absolute beast and his last fight was probably his best performance. He's at his peak or very close to it.
I see it more like 90/10 than 1/6.

Yarde has power, but Butler has experience.
It's really not worth splitting hairs over...both are buggered anyway
