Lewis fought Frans Botha I suppose, but this is pretty thin stuff. How much would he get paid for this nonsense?
yes but look who Lewis fought immediately before and after Botha.polecateddy wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 09:01 Lewis fought Frans Botha I suppose, but this is pretty thin stuff. How much would he get paid for this nonsense?
Joshua has boxed Uysk twice, and Fury has never boxed anyone anywhere near as good as Uysk. Plus, AJ hasn't boxed Arreola twice before already..which Fury has done with Chisora
He did say that was an option. The Asleep Lamps wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 11:13 He should have faced a leftie to prepare for Usyk. That would have made more sense. Then you say OK I see what he is doing there.... I don't think the Chisora fight is finalized yet though. Hopefully they will change their minds over the weekend.
So you think it's ppv worthy?big lennox wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 10:55Joshua has boxed Uysk twice, and Fury has never boxed anyone anywhere near as good as Uysk. Plus, AJ hasn't boxed Arreola twice before already..which Fury has done with Chisora
Definitely not PPV worthy. I actually don't think he needs to drop down to this level. A rematch with Whyte would have been good. Ditto, Fury, it doesn't make sense to me him not waiting for Uysk in February.mickey1975 wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 12:04So you think it's ppv worthy?big lennox wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 10:55Joshua has boxed Uysk twice, and Fury has never boxed anyone anywhere near as good as Uysk. But using your criteria, AJ can never box Usyk again, won't box Tyson (his sponsors won't let him) so has to step down.big lennox wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 12:40Definitely not PPV worthy. I like both Joshua and Fury: I think fundamentally they are good guys and I always watch their fights, but even if Joshua vs Arreola and Fury vs Chisora III aren't pay per view, I won't watch them live; will just catch the highlights on YouTube a few days later. Just not interested in either of these fights.
There is a big difference between boxing Uysk again and Chisora for a third time. We already know the result of Fury vs Chisora. Why doesn't Fury box Joyce: same promoter, very easy to make.mickey1975 wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 13:11But using your criteria, AJ can never box Usyk again, won't box Tyson (his sponsors won't let him) so has to step down.big lennox wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 12:40Definitely not PPV worthy. I feel you.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑08 Oct 2022, 07:43 fvck this sh1t they're virtually all dead to me. I'll bother with Bam, and Estrada and Chocolatito while they're still around. I'm interested in Haney's development, will have to wait to see if Shakur's weight problems were deep rooted discipline and lifestyle issues or just weight issues, hopefully the latter. Canelo I'll always watch if he takes on a challenge, Usyk same.
Other than that, Crawford and Spence can fvck off, they killed it for me, and I don't think I can think of another boxer I could GAF about. that astounds me, that I'm able to say that, that I give a fvck about 7 fighters in the whole world (may have missed a couple tbf), I mean I love Inoue but where have the good matches been for the last 2 years?
fvck boxing.
I'd buy PPV for this one i would'nt want to risk a stream going down , same with Fury -Usyk , this one i won't even gbother watching it on u tube a week later ,
yeah this supposed match reeks of Fury and Chisora sitting on leather sofas smoking cigars reminiscing over old times and counting their money. virtually an exhibition with lots of fake WWE beef in the build-up.
Not the best of fights BUT understandable considering he's lost 3 of his last 5 , and got beat quite convicincly in his last two ,,, Whats Your hero's excuse , he's won his last 5 , so whats his excuse for fighting his mate ,, and Chisors is his mate take no notice of all the WWF bollocks they have been at for the last couple of months ,, suspect its been Chisora all along ,
I don't have a hero, most grown men don't. I understand you won't understand that, what with your bikes, etc.coneye wrote: ↑10 Oct 2022, 05:34Not the best of fights BUT understandable considering he's lost 3 of his last 5 , and got beat quite convicincly in his last two ,,, Whats Your hero's excuse , he's won his last 5 , so whats his excuse for fighting his mate ,, and Chisors is his mate take no notice of all the WWF bollocks they have been at for the last couple of months ,, suspect its been Chisora all along ,
Yes I wasn’t going to labour the point, but Lewis did a great job demo-img how champs should act. What was it 6 weeks after popping Michael Grant’s bubble, polaxed Botha in 2.1047945 wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 09:18yes but look who Lewis fought immediately before and after Botha.polecateddy wrote: ↑09 Oct 2022, 09:01 Lewis fought Frans Botha I suppose, but this is pretty thin stuff. only a clown or an american would try and fault Lennox Lewis`s resume .polecateddy wrote: ↑10 Oct 2022, 08:40Yes I wasn’t going to labour the point, but Lewis did a great job demo-img how champs should act.
