Great performance made Fulton look like an easy mandatory defence

great point - commentator said inoue had had 20 back to back title fights which would include many mandatories .

Whilst fury fights his mate delboy and now a wrestler : :brick:
It was an incredible performance. Don't let The Gypsy King take over an other thread, please.

Would be a fight for the ages that one. Let him go up to 126 after beating Tapales and face Ramirez (another great fight, hoping not a coincidence he was on this card) then hopefully he can set up a fight against Davis in a couple of years.
definitely. I want to see how far the Inoue train can go :bag:

who was the slightly worried but smiling guy in the Hawaiian shirt they brought into the ring at the end? seemed like a future opponent. i had the volume off and wasn't paying attention at that point

inou was f@cking fantastic, this guy was supposed to be a p4p level slick boxer, and tbf he is very good, but inoue outboxed him with ease then brutally ktfo him. people have said inoue is limited before, just a slugger, etc...........dude is really a monster

BUT THE WRAPS DOUGH ! LIAM SMITH! MARGARITO!

Inoue's that good even if he punched like Sunny Edwards he'd still be schooling these dudes, don't get me wrong his power definitely has an effect on his opponents tactics but his timing, judgment of distance, shot selection and gears are elite

Inoue looked as if he was fighting his own fight for 95% of that ... the last two rounds he was practically walking him down and the KO ending was inevitable. But how clinical was he in getting it .. superb!

I think he can go 126 and dominate .. the likes of Tank at 130/135 would be too far. Tank would have so many clauses put in contract to get a huge weight advantage it would be too far.

P4P #1

He don’t need to go no further up the weights.
In his own words, he was unsure of this one.

Phenomenal that was.
Superb

TheLeprechaun wrote: 24 Jul 2023, 17:14 I'm assuming Fulton can do better than Paul butler of all people, in terms of going rounds. If it comes to Fulton fighting very negatively, sure he can do better than butler, who was able to brace himself and take the shots remember. Fulton shows a higher skill set, good stamina. Butler was only in there to survive though which has to be remembered but it was still very disappointing to be taken that far vs Paul butler for a man coming in with the reputation of inoue. You would think inoue was the second coming of sonny liston when he was coming through and champ, in terms of reputation. A quick demolition of Fulton would shut me up though.
steph fulton ko'd faster and more brutally than paul butler, boxing is funny like that
