Of course, Hearn always comes off with the same nonsense. "I thought x fighter won the last couple of rounds" is another of his stock phrases. It worked out well for him in the end. A rematch and a world title. Donovan still marketable, Crocker has a title. Eddie a winner.

Donovan ain't marketable for much longer though. The fact that he couldn't beat Crocker in 2 tries means he's relegated to being an opponent for real stars now.

He'll either be carefully matched in the U.K. or he'll fight a World Class opponent, and lose. He'll never be a Top fighter. Top fighters beat the Crocker's of the World.
