I always considered Spider Webb to be about the most under-rated middleweight contender of all time, he never got his due or the credit he fully deserves. I see him winning either by a TKO in the later rounds or a comfortable decision over Alan Minter, that still would have left Minter swollen and cut.

Terry Downes vs Kelly Pavlik [sorry for any spelling errors], 12 rounds :box:

Nice one. Hagler KO 10.

Schmeling vs. Tunney, 1930.

gene tunney 2 years out of the ring puts up a tremendous display of ring craft, hurtful jabbing and the occasional crunching right hand against schmelling who recently had trouble with joe sekyra. schmelling ups his game well, though, with his own punishing bombs to hold out the faded but very clever tunney.
schmelling UD

giulio renaldi v mike rossman

Mike Rossman Wins by UD.

Jesse James Leija vs. Jesse James Hughes at 140.
12 Rounds.

leija was pretty good in his prime and easily outclasses the outlaw hughes who was less than a sharpshooter.

i take leija to trouble the referee to halt this contest around the 9th.

lew tendler v floyd mayweather - lightweight

Tendler is cut early, & there is some urgency when he smashes a hard left home in the seventh of a competitive fight, follows with a barrage of stunning blows, stops a trapped & dazed Mayweather on his feet. Mayweather survives an early knockdown to outpoint Tendler in the rematch.

Nino Benvenuti vs. Bernard Hopkins, 12 Rounds.

Nino Benvenuti vs. Bernard Hopkins, 12 Rounds.
Hopkins Takes it a UD with what seems to be a complete disaster for Nino. The Class of Hopkins is overwhelming.

Winner by UD.

Sonny Liston v Vitali/wladimir Klitchko.

Sonny Liston v Vitali/wladimir Klitchko.
Liston disrupts Wladimir sufficiently to stop him late on, but I think Vitali would have been able to compete and stand him off with his power, to win on the cards.

Bernard Hopkins vs James Toney, at 160 in 1992, 168 in 1994, 175 in 1996, Cruiser in 1998. (choose one or all, up to you)

Through it all, I'd pick Toney to take Hopkins in all those weight classes, all by decision, though. :TU:

Joe Calzaghe vs Donnie Lalonde, 12 rounds :box:

Joe Calzaghe vs Donnie Lalonde, 12 rounds :box:
Calzaghe by Wide UD...almost stops lalonde on several occassions.Lalonde resorts to alotta clinching though, and it saves him from being Tko'd.

Henry Maske vs. Joe Calzaghe at 175,12 rounds :box:
-3 bout trilogy :TU:

fight 1-Calzaghe wins a close but UD.
fight 2-Maske wins a Close but UD.
fight 3-Calzaghe wins by razor thin SD.

Quawi in a tough UD.

Cotto v Armstrong

Posted: 22 Apr 2008, 01:33

Armstrong wins a SD, he is rocked early but outworks over the distance.

Pedro Agotso Vs Ossie Occasio, 12 rounds battle of Puerto Ricco's contenders.

Agotso recovers from a 5th round knockdown to win by SD

Now the number Pound-4-Pound fighter Floyd Mayweather JR vs. the best young boxer around Charlie Zelenoff

Here's one that I thought be an interesting bout:

Billy Miske vs Tommy Gibbons, 15 rounds :box:

Tommy Gibbons by late KO.

Kostya Tszyu vs Aaron Pryor 12 rds

by Goodnight, Irene
Pryor stops Tszyu in ten. More versatile, more ferocious, just as aggressive. Tszyu has him down early, but cannot finish.

Arguello vs Pacquiao at Jr. Lightweight. 12 Rounds.

Arguello mid to late KO

Calzaghe v Toney prime for prime at 168lbs.

Posted: 23 Apr 2008, 00:03
by Goodnight, Irene
Toney wins a clear decision. 8-4 in a match-up that is only somewhat competitive, as Toney struggles to counter Calzaghe's fast hands early.

Fernando Vargas vs Davey Moore at Jr. Middle.

Vargas by UD.

Junior Jones vs Israel Vazquez

Vazquez by KO in 9 or 10

prime Hopkins vs. Kelly Pavlik at middleweight.

Hopkins UD. Too slick defensively for Pavlik. Hopkins plays him like a puppet for 12 rounds.

Azumah Nelson vs Edwin Valero

Posted: 23 Apr 2008, 23:22

I like Nelson via narrow decision.

Pernell Whitaker vs. Aaron Pryor at Lightweight, with a rematch clause for Jr. Welter.

Posted: 24 Apr 2008, 12:59
by allworld80
Sweet Pea in his prime slippin and bobbing and weaving. Pryor gets frustrated. Pryor makes it close through sheer pressure, but Whitaker by decision.

Sugar Ray Robinson vs Sergio Mora....just kidding. :D
Acelino Freitas vs Frankie Randall
