She thinks Holm should get an immediate rematch.
I think that's more to do with not wanting to fight Cyborg.

RE 208, I thought holm won pretty clearly. I also remember thinking the punch stats seems off. JDR seemed to just be landing single shots, but it had her way out ahead on numbers. She should have been deducted at least one point too.
And she was basically dropped twice, and even though holly didn't do to much with the clinch, she did maintain the dominant position for most of the time.

Mitrione out with a kidney stone, Fedor fight scrapped tonight. Really disappointed even though I wish Fedor would retire. I wish they could at least have just pulled an undercard Heavy up so Fedor could still make his debut. Really crushing for this card.

:verysad:

*Edit: Supposedly Fedor turned down a couple late minute replacements including Tito, Chael, Kongo, and Oli Thompson. Not sure if there's any truth to that though.

Nice little card so far, this womens match is very fun!

On a side note, Jimmy and Chael are the best commentator duo in MMA right now. They are a huge part why I enjoy Bellator.

Gutted for Mayo there, she started slow but I think was one her way to a UD. Hate seeing fighters beg like that as I know how it feels to be that helpless and lose like that. But the doc made the right choice. Fighter safety.

I like Kongo but he's such a piece of shite. First intentional low blow of the night...let's see how many more he throws before the nights over. I hope Oli knocks him out, he is world famous for targeting the nads more than anybody.

That card was pretty bad without the main event. I DVR'd it without knowing the main event was canceled, and got halfway through before realizing it. The Thomson fight had some good action, the rest was mostly low level garbage.

Anybody watching tonight? Some good brawls so far. I'm a big Ponzinibbio fan and he got it done is a slugfest. I was surprised his fight wasn't on the main card but I guess they had to make room for that McMann "fight" that was embarrassing.

Derrick Lewis might be my new favourite fighters after that post fight interview.

Says he needs to go poo poo
Makes sure everyone knows about Travis hitting women
Asks were Ronda Rouseys fine ass is
Says he tired from too much training and too much sex

I hope they give Lewis Hunt next. That's an awesome fight.

:TU: that was fantastic. Who calls out mark hunt? Just him. He needs to do some more sit-ups though. I don't care about the belly, you can still develop the muscle under it.

Rounds 2 & 3 of Hendricks vs Lombard were hard to score. I thought Hendricks got the third based on some of those nice left hands and knees he landed but second I don't really know.

If they do fight I hope they both get at least a mill each, yes I know they won't. It would be two 260ish pound guys with one punch power throwing bombs at each other until one of them went out.

If age doesn't catch up to him much more than it already has then I would favour Hunt.

On another note ifind it hard to believe Fedor turned down sonnen. Seems much more likely that Coker wants to save the shot Atg for his most marketable heavy. Not saying Chael would win, or even that meathead is a lock. But you've risking a loss in any Fedor fight.

I like Lewis too, he's a funny guy! He's got to be one of the worst prospects I've seen get this much hype, but that's heavyweight for you.
His power is definitely legit, Browne doesn't have much of a chin but literally every punch Lewis threw wobbled him. A modern day Tank Abbott with less cardio. I'd love to see him and Hunt next.

I think him vs Hunt would be a great fox headliner. It'll be a way while it lasts, it could be quickly of course but it could end up being another Hunt vs Bigfoot, which could surely bring in viewers.

Remember that Ronda is the toughest person ever....she should just go and deal with Lewis.

Shot in the dark here, but is anybody close with any "bigger" MMA promoters? I've been trying to help a couple pro's get some fights lined up and I'm hitting a lot of dead ends. There both relatively well known, no idea how much they'd ask for. One I've only spoken to online, and the other is a good buddy of mine. If you have any contact info PM me please!

I'd bet you'd have some luck on Sherdog's forum. You probably already know, their site is to MMA as Boxrec is to boxing.

Just finished up watching a submission version of Conor McGregor fight on Bellator. James Gallagher is only 20 years old. Fights out of the same camp as McGregor. Now, 6-0 with 5 subs. Looks to have the same type of chip as Conor does. Creates a buzz just looking at him..... Needless to say, I don't like him...lol

Someone to keep an eye on.

I hate to say it but submission fighters that aren't legit world champions normally quickly get found out once they're in the UFC against guys with TDD or elite grappling. Conor's skill standing isn't good, he gets by on power, timing and length. That leads me to believe that an amazing striking game won't be developed in that gym. People raved about Gunnars grappling and then Maia made him look like a child, Featherweight has some great grapplers and always will have great grapplers.
