Romero is much more dangerous with elbows and knees. I agree that he'd finish bisping when he hurt him which makes the likelihood of that fight being as good very miniscule. I don't think that's true normally when Romero punches someone clean they go to sleep. I agreed about the stamina, though Hendo isn't exactly a cardio machine himself he is just able to fight once he's started to gas. Yoel seems to think that you have to give maximum effort in everything you throw.

I still think Romero is better at everywhere. You know damn well i didn't mean every attribute Romero has is better than Hendos. Being better everywhere simply means he's better on the ground, striking or grappling standing. Which he is, he's a better puncher as well even if he *arguably* doesn't punch as hard as Hendo - whose notable knockouts are almost all against chinny fighters Romero would eat up a prime Hendo and we all know it. Silva did it, so would Romero and Weidman.

Romero should push for a title shot at 205, after the next fight there's no contenders and I would love to see him and Cormier tangle. He's clearly not getting his shot at 185 anytime soon. Bispings too busy fighting old men and retired WWs.

He got hurt standing then held down and beat down before getting choked. His only effective offence was holding Anderson down while covering his mouth. There were even gifs going around for a long one with parts of the fight and the finish with some clever blurring and at the end they would say raped.

Maybe I'm overrating Romero but he is incredible and I would certainly favour him over anyone that Hendo has beaten and many that he lost to.

Hendo might be one of the best ever but there is a heap of guys who are above him due to their consistency of which Hendo had none. Hendo barely makes the top 10, his biggest win came against a guy who had just got his head kicked into the stand against a prime Cro Cop.

Definitely not buying it now. Ferguson has to be livid.

There should be consequences for this. Let McGregor/Ferguson happen and send Khabib to the back of the line. Make him fight someone like Alvarez, RDA, or Barboza to get back into the title picture.

Hopefully the UFC can have a quick turn around for both guys and they fight on the next card or something. 210 is a month away I hope they just move the fight there.

Khabibs not a small LW by any means but he hardly looks like the biggest. Just a case of a guy who didn't cut weight growing up like many wrestlers do still not getting the hang of it?

What really sucks about this is it gives Conor's excuse to not fight Khabib validity. I really want to see this fight. But, if they end up either giving Ferguson someone else, or securing him a shot at Conor because of this, you can't blame them. Their PPV sales probably just dropped significantly for this card. This fight was the main event for me.

I'd make Conor fight Ferguson. Khabib hasn't really done anything anyway. Just past laurels, obvious talent and a nick Diaz leftover. I'm surprised p4p isn't bothered by his ranking.

Khabib has been doing combat sports since he was a child. He has much weight cutting experience as anybody.

Yeah because the way he dominated RDA and Johnson among others isn't impressive.

No point in giving Feeguson Conor yet anyway, nobody seems to know when or if he will fight again.

Ferguson turned down Johnson as a replacement.

He's always impressive but he's had 2 fights in years. You're against gsp getting anything off of his past but your boy khabib beats a guy outside the top 30 and a backside top 10 and he earned it.
